Ted was living like a king.
It had not been enough to make an unconventional bonfire. The events of that night were a bit fuzzy in his mind by now, all he knew was that someone had brought mead and what really had looked like donuts, and it had been so much fun. He had, at this point, nearly completely forgotten about Eknie, but she did visit his thoughts occasionally. Madorn refused to talk about her. Zerielle was more curious, but the high cor could keep her at bay. She had grown into a stunning, spectacular woman with odd and unusual ambitions. Ted suspected her of secretly practicing the occult. Of course, that was generally the way occult things were supposed to be done, but the cult leader himself preferred to have his practice out in the open.
