Theinskvalur wanted cooperation with his village and the rest of the Fin. He was enthusiastic about it to the point where he actually suggested joint ruling of the matters concerning the island, of course with the expectation that Theinskvalur himself would not intervene with matters that did not concern Libranupometsk in the slightest.
Ted was tempted, oh so tempted to accept the suggestion of cooperation. He wanted to see what Theinskvalur had in his pockets, though. There had to be some kind of a militant sect in the village, if these people were so capable of defending their own lands against the detrimental presence of normal Finner culture. There had to be a reason why the village had, in fact, never been conquered at all.
