"It worked," Ted said, barely able to contain himself. "Are we all right?"
"I don't know about you, but I am asleep and I was kind of surprised to see you inside my head," Eknie replied. "What are you even doing here?"
"Listen. I don't have much time. At least I think I don't." Ted lowered his voice. "The rebels got me. They will not let me leave, and they are not that keen on the Competition. They want me to take the entire island by force, and for that, I need your help."
Eknie nodded. "Go on."
"I need you and the cultists to covertly kill as many loyalists as you can. When you can no longer work undercover, I want you to stay safe while killing the loyalists anyway. Can you do that for me? If you could, I don't know, put poison in the porridge and tell the cultists to abstain from eating it, well, that would be spectacular."
