Madorn intended to paint without brushes. Although this sounded ridiculous and outlandish, Ted saw an opportunity here, he did not know what for, but he knew this would be good. He let the scientist do his own thing, reassuring Mad that the resources he needed would be there.
Ted stayed to observe the situation. The scientist was spreading white sheets on walls and setting up weird boxes that were supposed to do something with the light and the assortment of fruits that was to become the subject of the painting.
Ted could not do much to help, and therefore, he chose to spend the following day with Zerielle. She was working, although this was supposedly a national holiday and most people were taking time off from their work. This suited everyone, as Zerielle was an odd case in everyone's opinion.
She frowned as she put the finishing touches in the last card in what was supposed to be the final version of the pack.
