The wolves were much further away than Ted would have liked them to be. The group had a nice time, but before sunset, they gave up and decided to go back, since there was obviously no chance of catching anything but a nasty cold.
Ted returned to the main village, only to seek Eknie and find that she had apparently disappeared.
This was unusual for her, but not unusual to disgruntled womenfolk as a whole, and therefore the cult leader was not too concerned. As the night passed by, however, he started to feel like there was more to this and that he could perhaps do something about it.
He did not get too far from his room when the blind hag came by and stopped him.
"It's Dogormo, she is having a conversation with Him. And by a conversation I mean that they are negotiating."
"Why did Dogormo not wait for me?" Ted asked. "What does Eknie even know about negotiating with demons?"
