"What THE - MOTHER OF WORMS!"
Ted swung his lower body the other way, trying to get rid of the air current that was toying with him.
The rest of the descent was bumpy at best and terrifying at worst, but an annoyed cult leader sunk his boots into cold, black sand and signaled the others to come as well. They had an elevating system that they could use to wheel the cultists up and down, but first, someone had to anchor the rope into something.
Ted sighed and made sure that the rope would not budge.
He waited for three minutes.
After five had passed, he thought the others had left him to die on that island. Then he remembered that Eknie had once killed a wasp with a bullet. He remembered the way she spoke about him.
There was no way Eknie was letting anyone do something like that to him.
Then the cultists arrived.
"You took your sweet time," Ted said loudly and began to pace around to get a good look at the island.
