"Please, try not to drop...that stuff...on my bed," Ted said. "Those sheets cost a lot."
"Do not tell me what to do, mortal!" the hag hissed at him, hostile and tense all of a sudden. "I have been through so much to help you. The least you can do is to show me some respect."
Ted watched the black drool dripping from the jaws of the she-demon, disgusted and curious about the nature of the liquid.
"What is it?" Ted asked.
"Why, do you want to bottle it up and sell it?"
"Yes, and yes, is that really such a bad idea?"
"It is certainly an idea." The hag sighed and took out a little vial from her bodice. "I will collect a sample for you. If Dogormo is gracious and willing to help, it will save you, sooner or later."
"What can I use it for?" Ted asked.
