{RECESS TIME}
All classes were over, I was sitting alone, I said to Thia that I did not want to eat today. My mind was disturbed with the thought that why am I seeing my mother everywhere?
Near the open window, the slow wind was blowing, making me think of peace and Suddenly my phone rang reminding me I can't have a good mood and peace.
It was dad's call, suddenly my mood and environment changed from warm to grumpy again. I picked up the call.
"Yes, dad?"
"Come directly home after school, don't fool around, okay?"
"Why?" I asked
"Don't you think you ask too much these days?" dad said
"Don't you think you expect to do too much these days?" I argued
"You...!!!, Your grandma is coming and wants you to pick her up" dad said
"So, How do you expect me to pick her up? in my cycle?" I taunted
"Fine! You can take my car this one time" Dad forcefully said
I always wanted to drive my dad's car but he never let me do so, Of course, Lisa could take it whenever she wanted. I agreed and ended the call in a good mood.
I texted Thia- "Dad called me just now"
"Really? what for?" She instantly replied
"He wanted me to directly come home today," I said trying to create suspense
"WHAT?!, It must be Lisa! That Bi*ch! U good?" She texted
"I am in a very good mood instead" I texted with a smile on my face
"You had your dad call and you are happy? what a miracle! But why though?" She asked with the curious emoji
"2 things. 1- GRANDMA IS COMING TODAY" I said, my grandma loved me very much, just like my aunt did, actually, more than that
"REALLY? OMG! what's the 2nd thing?" she texted
"Dad said I can take his car" I finally said with teeth smile emoji
"WOW!! FINALLY! I AM IN!" She texted
"Sure," I said and our chat ended
" Looking down the window, I saw him..... It was...Edam?
How is he here, I ran downstairs swiftly to the ground.
I was standing on the ground and he was there.
"EDAM?" I shouted
He turned back revealing his face and all our memories came flashing towards my eyes.
*FLASHBACK*
When Ashley was a kid and when her mom was alive, Thia, Ashley, and Edam used to be best friends. They would have A LOT OF FUN. Yes, Ashley does recognize Thia. Ashley trusted Edam the most and used to share her dreams and everything with him. Edam was a class higher. At that time Ashley used to be a weak girl and got bullied by other students and Edam used to help her every time. One day after playing in the park Thia left, Edam came to Ash to say her something that changed Ashley's life.
"Hey Edam, I have something to tell you, It was my dream and you know you were in it and I want it to be true, It was...." Kid Ashley said with excitement
"SHUT UP" Edam shouted
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR OUR BORING AND TRASHY DREAMS, I AM SICK AND TIRED OF IT ALREADY!!! YOU JUST KEEP BLABBERING SH*T. " Edam said
"Edam I....." Ashley said while stepping backward
"I SAID SHUT UP AND DON'T SAY MY NAME FROM YOUR DUSTBIN MOUTH, I AM TIRED of FIGHTING FOR YOU TRASH," Edam said
"Edam, what are you saying?" Ashley asked while trying to step closer to Edam
"GET OUT! YOU STINK" Edam said while pushing Ashley to the ground.
Ashley started to cry and Edam left without looking back even once
Ashley was heartbroken and went home while wiping her tears, Her knees were hurt and were bleeding.
"Mom, I fell on the ground and hurt my knees, can you please aid it?" Ashley said
"Outer wounds can be healed but wounds that are inside...They will hurt you all your life and will leave a deep and dark scar that can never be removed or healed, and Instead of trying to get rid of it, learn to live with it and to not let it take over you, only when you can learn this...you can say that you are strong " Mom said with a really warm smile on her face while looking at Ashley
"Mom...You.....already know what happened between me and....Edam?" Ashley asked with a shaking voice
Her mom just smiled and hugged her and went to get a first aid kit and started to aid it without a word more.
At that time, Ashley was a kid and did not understand what her mother meant but now, she knows what she meant. After that day, Edam ignored Ashley at school. After 4-5 days, Edam was about to leave the state, As soon as Ash knew, She ran to his house and he was all packed up and was about to sit in the car. Ashley brought some yellow flowers indicating friendship and brought a friendship band for Edam.
"EDAM WAIT!!" Ash shouted
"What is it?" he asked with a grumpy tone
Ash fitted the band on Edam's hand and put the flowers forward and said
"Before you leave...Please...last time in your life....bear with the sh*t am about to blabber....just for 5 mins...not more than that." Ashley said while breathing heavily
Edam's mother was watching, so Edam couldn't refuse
"The dream I was talking about last time, My dream was about you....We were adults in it...and were having fun and living a really happy life.....drinking coffee in the cafe.....going to the mall.....we were 'together'...After that...We grew older and were in our 80's.....still together.....eating eyes cream....laughing.....chatting....and when I woke up...The only thing I wished was...That my dream comes true and we stay friends forever and ever and never apart" Ashley said while tears dripping from her eyes and Edam could not resist and a drop of tear fell from his eyes.
"Only you can full fill this dream of mine by accepting this flower," Ashley said while giving the flower
"GET LOST NOW, I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY TIME ON YOU," Edam said while throwing the flower on the ground and smashing it with his foot.
He sat in the car and he vanished in a second and never came back or talked.
After all of this, Ashley's mother died and all of the sufferings started and all she needed was somebody, anybody who can give his or her shoulder to Ashley to cry.
Edam was not there when Ashley needed him the most, He left her then and there at her harsh and hard times.

Today he is in front of me, What am I supposed to do? Cry? Be happy? Be angry? Catch up with things or Tell him how harsh time I faced? What am I supposed to do in this weird situation?
He was looking me in the eyes with shock. What will happen now?
