Chapter 2 - A "small" change

I woke up, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, and did what everyone else in the world does in the morning. no I'm not a new kid nor is there a new kid, but school is very boring, everyone has their own friends that they had since the 3rd grade. I walk into school and go to my friend "Anything new happen?" my friend ask "No." i say in my normal voice "Andrea, when are you going to suck up your shyness and talk to someone new?" my friend sounded confused but mad at the same time, I sighed "Perhaps someday I will." my friend slaps me on the back "that day is today," she shoved me Infront of the 'cutest girl in school' my friend whispers "talk." and then she proceeds to run away "Hey, need anything?" the girl says "Sorry Kirsten, my friend pushed me here." Kirsten laughs "Victoria is a struggle in class, she's always up to something." Kirsten says sounding like she knows Victoria very well for some reason "I'm really sorry, I can buy you soda from the vending machine." I say panicking, Kirsten notices I said that panicking " No need, I really should be apologizing knowing that you aren't a fan of talking to other people." Kirsten says smiling. and then I realized... Victoria just shoved me right out of my antisocial comfort-zone.
