The door of the Rivyndan guild snap open and Rivyn walked in, a two-point blade with sharp edges flew past Rivyn's, missing her eyes only a few inches away, the blade flew straight in the middle of the dartboard.
"Se-ri! Are you trying to kill someone?" Rivyn sigh as she was almost blinded by a sharp blade.
"Oops, sorry I missed." She said smirking and pointing a gaze at Rivyn.
"You missed?" Rivyn was furious.
"Next time I'll try to aim a little closer," Se-ri said.
She steps in carrying her grenade launcher on her back.
She enters in a pleasing mood, she had just received a huge advance for the job she accepted.
"Hey Se-ri, is Maize back?" Rivyn asked Se-ri who walked and took her jacket off the couch.
"No, I think she will probably be back by midnight again," Se-ri answered.
"It's been a week already, when will she give up on bringing Exzi back. He's now with the Dragon Flames guild, so there's nothing we can do for him." Rivyn said.
"Can you forget him that easily?" Se-ri asked her.
Rivyn stood quiet "Of course, and I already have. It's better this way, he was just a distraction that we don't need." Rivyn said.
"Only you think of him as a distraction, I bet the others would say otherwise," Se-ri said.
Rivyn walked in the kitchen for her food and saw that the regular breakfast wasn't prepared again, it had been a week since she had breakfast made by Maize. Maize had been searching for Exzi since the day after he left. She leaves at dawn and returns at midnight, but she was unsuccessful every time she went.
All she saw for breakfast was meat buns Se-ri bought from the food shop. Since she replaces Maize for preparing breakfast. She saw that the only ones who haven't eaten their food were she and Aiko.
"She's still lock up in her room, I think she still needs time," Se-ri said sadly. "I think she needs more time before he can go on any jobs."
Aiko is like a little sister to her, but even she couldn't make her eat. The only person who made her eat was Maize when she returns at midnight.
"I will feed her." Rivyn picked up the plate of food and went upstairs and knock on Aiko's room door, but there was no answer from Aiko.
"You know she will only open the door to Maize." Se-ri reminded her.
Aiko was cover-up tightly with her blanket, she hasn't interacted with any of her guild members besides Maize after she killed Masashi. She isolated herself in her room, crying and shivering all day, every day. Every time she closed her eyes all she kept seeing he
"Aiko, It's Sister Rivyn, can you please open the door, I have something to tell you."
There was still no answer from Aiko, Rivyn stood outside the door waiting for a little while. She finally understood why Aiko only open her door to Maize. She sat on the floor along with Se-ri and lay against the door, Rivyn took a deep sigh, she closes her eyes, reminiscent of the day she was first killed.
"One night I was having supper with her two friends like sisters, fifteen men storm in, they took advantage of the fact that my father wasn't home to protect us, they were vicious, they overpower us and rape us, one man at a time. By the time my father arrived, it was already too late, six men had already rape us. My father fought them off, he brutally battled them. Some died and some were at the point of death. The entire house was cover with blood.
The pain and shame we felt were unbearable, my heart was only a few seconds away from bursting, then I saw one of the men that raped her, lying beneath her was gasping desperately for air. I instantly turn cold, it was like my blood froze; I loathed the very sound of his breath, I pick up a heavy sword I saw lying on the floor next to his head. So I used my remaining strength to pick up the sword and cut off his head. After I cut off his head I felt relief and satisfy, so I went on beheading them all."
Aiko stopped sobbing and turn to the door listening to Rivyn.
"My sisters were frightened by what had happened to us, but they most terrify at what I was doing. They were shivering, frozen with fear, but for me, my heart had already frozen solid, I didn't shear a single tear as I beheaded them all, and I felt no remorse. My father left us the next day to return to the tournament, I felt terrified, and unsafe. So I hid in my room every day without coming out. Because of that fear, my sisters were taken away by another group and I was too scared to come out and save them. I lost them since that day and I've never seen them again. So my point is you don't need to keep hiding in your room, we are here to protect you."
"But I don't know how to stop being afraid sister Rivyn," Aiko said.
Rivyn smile. Se-ri was eavesdropping from the bottom of the staircase, she came up the stairs when she heard Aiko's voice.
"Hey kid, do you remember when we found you almost at a point of death after you escape the pet house? and those pet keepers came after u, we were all terrified because we were outnumbered, I think eighteen to six and we thought we were going to die, but surprisingly we won, and we've been winning since then. Kid, do you know how we've survived? It's because of the faith we have in our fate." Se-ri said.
"My father told me that Faith and Fate are two divine force of light that was created by the Creator to allow every being to have the will to decide their fates. So it is our fate to win because we were destined to win and no one changes that. Remember I promised I will always protect you. I'm going to make you another promise that I will bring Exzi back to the guild." Rivyn said to Wiki.
As soon as she promised Aiko to open the door expressing a deep smile.
"You promise?" Aiko was content to hear Rivyn say that, even though she didn't like Exzi.
"I promise," Rivyn said.
Even though she didn't want to admit it, but she also misses Exzi and regretted how she was treated after seeing watching him defend their guild.
Aiko finally allows Rivyn and Se-ri inside her room, the room was dark, it was a small room with a bed an iron table, and a chair, she had a small metal closet. There were pink neon crystal lights that were hung on all sides of the room. because the glass windows were shut close. they went and sat on her bed while Rivyn fed her.
"Even though we don't starve to death in Gan'drrakah, you still need to eat, to feel alive," Rivyn said as she feeds Aiko.
Her eyes had a dark circle and her face was a little swell from all the crying.
"No matter how much food we eat, we are won't ever feel full' because we are not alive," Se-ri said.
"You're not helping." Rivyn gives her a serious gaze.
"It's the truth."
"Don't tell her that, of course, we are alive," Rivyn said to her.
"Are we?" Se-ri asked her.
Se-ri took Rivyn hand and press it against her chest. They were no heartbeats.
"Do you feel anything? You see, how can we be alive if our hearts have already stopped beating." Se-ri said sadly.
"You're right, we may not have heartbeats, but we still feel every emotion that we use to feel in our hearts, the only difference is that now we only have it in our soul."
"That's why, when we love, we love with our soul and when we hurt, we hurt with our soul," Se-ri added.
They cuddle each other tightly.
"I wonder what Exzi is going through at the Fire tower." Aiko thought out loud.
"Don't worry, remember he can heal himself, and he's Exzi, so I believe he's doing more than okay," Rivyn assured her, but even she had no clue but hope he was.
"I hope so." Aiko was doubtful of Exzi safety at the fire tower. She worried.
A punch to the face, made him cough out blood, his face was wounded and covered with blood. A kick to the ribs breaking a few, a step in his stomach made him dizzy, followed by a knock-out spin kick to the head. Exzi was knock out. He just his ass beating by a girl dressed like a ninja. Her fist was tainted by the blood of Exzi, her green eyes were emotionless.
They were in the large training room of the fire tower. The was no furniture except the chairs of the guild head that was up on a stage. The room was completely metallic with neon crystal lighting. The room was full of human assassins, there were no monsters or creatures; these were the guild elite squads used for first-class missions. The girl looked up to the head that was supervising the fight. She was the only head that was present.
" Well done Aksha."
" Gratitude, Lady Qiu." she bows.
Lady Qiu is a six hundred years old Chinese martial art expert that always looks like she's in her thirty, thanks to the growth stops in Gan'drrakah. She sat legs cross, dressed in a red ( ). She wasn't only extremely beautiful with long straight black hair, she had a dark and sophisticated personality, she is also very fierce.
" Take him and clean him up. Send him to me when he's all healed up." Lady Qiu commander Aksha and walked out of the training room as they bow.
She orders four male assassins to take Exzi, she follows their chamber. They lay him on his bed, Aksha stayed to clean his wounds. It was a small room with two storage beds. After the others left Aksha gave Exzi a soft slap to the face.
"Get up, they're gone," Aksha said to Exzi who was pretending to be passed out since he was exhausted from the everyday fight.
"Ouch, that hurt." He chuckles.
"Do you think Lady Qiu wouldn't kill you because you are kind of special?"
"Yes. And what do you mean kind of special? I am special." Exzi asked her.
"You do think highly of yourself, after getting your ass beat up again, by a girl," Aksha said. She was assigned to him as his Kisan, it was a term used for a partner, so they shares the room.
Exzi sat up, Aksha was yet again stunned by the way Exzi body heal itself. She rubs his chest smoothly and curiously. She stares into his silver eyes that were full of light.
"Are you going to do this every time I'm shirtless?" he asked.
"Yes. Why wouldn't I? You're mine until the day you can beat me and then I'm yours." Aksha told him.
That was a way of saying you own the people you can conquer. That was the way of Gan'drrakah.
"I'm going to get you food."
"Can you get me a burger or a bacon sandwich?"
"How about I add some booze to that order."
"Thank you Aksha, you're an Angel," Exzi said, he knew she was being sarcastic.
Aksha left. Exzi lay back down for his body to regain his energy but all he thought about was where could he locate his mother, in a city of four billion people. He also thought of the safety of the Rivyndan He couldn't escape albeit he wasn't a prisoner, he knew that if he left, the Rivyndan will be hunted down and killed.
There door of the penthouse open and Lady Qiu walked in annoyed.
"I don't think he's the one," Lady Qiu said to the three other guild heads that were present in the room. She walked and sat in her chair, and then she poured herself a drink and drank it in one shot.
"He's the one, I'm certain." Said the lady seated opposite lady Qiu reading paradise lost, with her glasses.
"What made you believe he's the one, Lady Ji-a? Other than the fact that he heals himself. The child barely has fighting skills." Lady Qiu asked Lady Ji-a.
Lady Ji-a has been living since the time before the great flood. She's a pre-ancient Korean, who is both wise and beautiful with long white curly hair; she also looks like she is in her thirties. She was the one that brought Exzi in, the mysterious figure that asked him to go with her.
"What is his progress?" The deep voice of the man seated on a long couch near the open window, with two beautiful women seated beside him, dressed in thin silk dresses. They sat massaging his shoulders and neck.
"I'm afraid it's going nowhere, Lord Botan." Lady Qiu was annoyed that her time was being wasted on Exzi.
Lord Botan is a pre-ancient Japanese who is known for his brutal methods and ideals. He looks forty and has the wisdom of someone who's over a thousand years old. He had long black hair, with a scar across his face. He stood up and walked to the huge glass window and gaze at the city view from a distance, as the cold wind blew through his red modern-style kimono. He was cover with jewelry of gold and other gemstones.
"He's putting up a front, he's protecting his secret." Lady Ji-a told them.
"Why? Does he knows of the legend?" Lady Qui asked her.
"I don't suppose he does, but I think he's not aware of his darkness within."
"Why are you so interested in that child? what if he turns out to not be the one? What then?" Lady Qiu was still doubtful.
"We have waited for millenniums, and if he turns out to not be the one, we can wait longer. That's the beauty of Gan'drrakah." Said Lord Baton.
"Where are the others?" Lady Qiu asked.
"Lady Kasita and Lord Gajji were summoned by the dark castle. Lord Woong and Lord Won-shik were sent to get an object for Lord Baton," answered Lady Ji-a.
"What is it?" Lacy Qiu asked.
"He wouldn't say." Lady Ji-a answered.
"Will they inform the dark lords of Exzi?" Lady Qiu asked.
"Not until we've confirmed he's the one." Answer Lord Baton.
"I have a mission for Exzi, this is one of three tests I'm going to give him, to prove he's the one."
Lady Ji-a took the attention of her book and glimpse at him through her glasses. "And if he fails?" she asked with concern.
"He will be forsaken." Answer Lord Baton.
Rivyn slept soundly with Aiko comfortably in her arms, then a low knock on the door wake her up. Maizee slowly walked in not trying to wake Aiko. She woke Rivyn and asked her to come out. Rivyn got up quietly and follow her to the root top. The night sky in Gan'drrakah is always colorful and full of stars, the cold wind blew through their hair. They sat on a metal bench and relax, watching the stars.
"Did you locate him?" Rivyn asked.
"He's at the fire tower. I heard they are torturing, Rivyn. I know you don't like but..."
"You're right." Rivyn interrupted her.
"About they torturing him, of course, I'm right." Maize said.
"Even though I have my problems with Exzi, I shouldn't abandon him, also, he saved our lives twice. So we are going to get him out. " Rivyn said.
She couldn't hide the fact that she cares a little about Exzi and doesn't want him to die.
"But how are we going to do that? We can't break him out of the fire tower. It's impossible."
"I know, we need help. That's why we need to take the job."
"What is it you are not telling us? what is the job and where?" Maize anxiously turn to her and asked
Rivyn hesitated for a minute before answering,
"The western dead zone." She answered.
"Fuck! You can't be serious Rivyn, going there is like a suicide mission." Maize was irritated with Rivyn and death threatened jobs.
"I know it's risky but..."
Maize stood up in annoyance. She knew Rivyn always took risky jobs but going to the western dead zone is just absurd.
"Risky, it's suicide. Hundreds of guilds and mercenaries had gone down that zone, and do you know how many came out? zero. Do you get that? zero survivor rate." Maize couldn't accept the job.
"Come on Maize, you can't be scare of some huge rats?"
"Giant iron-eating death rats, of course, I'm scared, I hate rats." Maize said.
"Don't you want to hear the reward?" Robyn asked.
"No amount will change..."
"Fifty-star gems," Rivyn said with a huge smile.
Maize was stunned "What! Are you serious?"
"Why else would I ricks our lives."
"That is more than enough to buy us an army of hunters." Maize was delighted.
"We are going to use some to buy Exzi back," Rivyn told her.
"You're right, with that we can buy any prisoner in iron city." Maize said. She was now a little sure of rescuing Exzi.
"Just wait a little while, Exzi. We're coming for you." Maize whispered to herself.
Exzi was in a dream state, he saw himself in a dark and cold dungeon, hands chained up to the wall. Exzi looked around and all he could see was corpses chained up in the same position as him. Then he heard a voice call out to him and it was the voice of his mother. Exzi couldn't see her but he could hear her voice and it was unmistakable. She kept calling out to him, her voice was full of sorrow. He tried to move but his body was frozen by the chilliness of the dungeon. It was frustrating and painful for him, while was he being punished this way, he thought.
"Exzi, Exzi, Wake up, Exzi!" The loud voice of Aksha interrupted his dream and woke him with another clue he is yet to Interpret.
Exzi awoke but yet he was still feeling the anguish from the dream realm. Exzi gasped for air, it took time for him to gain control of his body muscles. Aksha saw him shivering, she touch him, and he felt like a block of ice. She thought it was strange that he had caught a disease, she knew exactly what she to do. She took one of her many glowing crystals out of her small metal box she kept under her bed, Exzi sleeps on the top bed.
"I can't believe the all-powerful healer can't heal himself from a cold disease. I'm not going to do this for free you know?" Aksha said.
She chanted a santic that made the pink and purple crystal ignite to a ball of fire, its fire blaze the same colors as the crystal. The fire didn't burn her hand, it was warm and calm. She pressed it against his chest, the flame light his hold body up ablaze. Exzi felt strong energy healing his body, he began to feel warm again.
"What was that?"
"A healing crystal. I will think of a way for you to repay me." Aksa told him.
"Come on Kisan."
"Nothing's free in Gan'drrakah, now gear up, we've been summoned." Aksha has switched to assassin mode, Exzi could tell from her commanding tone of voice. She was clothed in her fire ninja suit.
Exzi asked no question and got dressed as quickly as possible. He was also dressed in the same suit as Aksha. He joins Aksha and the other four members of the elite phoenix in the training dorm all dressed ready for battle, they were all unmasked; Exzi knew something was up because they only dressed up for missions. The seven heads of the guild were all present, all seated in their respective chairs. lord Baton sat in the middle and on his left sat the other lords and on his right sat the ladies.
"Exzi, tonight you receive your first mission. You along with the elite squad A will be retrieving an item that is store in a vault. This vault is store in building five sector eight of the western dead zone."
"Excuse me, lord Baton, sorry for interrupting but I have a question. What is the story of the Western dead zone?" Exzi asked out of curiosity.
"After the punishment of kasaban with the great flood, The Creator created Gan'drrakah as a prison for some of the fallen Angels, and we who worshipped them. We have washed away to this prison realm. This realm was only a prison until the deal maker came, he was the darkness of the realm. He created a portal that allow us to import things from other realms. We started to build a new civilization, the western zone was where we first settle and built sixty buildings that looked like castles, with advanced technologies we imported from other realms, and it all went underground one night. The entire kingdom sank into the ground. Some survived and some left in the castles when it sank. We named it the dead zone because it was a grave for over a hundred thousand people. Since then only thirty persons have ever come out of there alive to talk about it. And we seven are part of those thirty persons.
"And you want us to go there and retrieve something? right?"
" Yes. And if you complete this mission. Your friends will be under the protection of our guild."
"Okay, it's not a fair deal but I guess I'll take it. But even if I died you still have to give them your protection."
"Agreed. One more thing. Take this, it will come handing." He toss Exzi a black stone sealed with a symbol.
"What does it do?"Exzi asked.
"That is a paju stone, it channels the life force of the user into a powerful force to destroy your enemy. you can only use it once, so use it only when your life depends on it."
"Still doesn't answer my question, what does it do?" Exzi insisted.
"You will know when you use it." Lord Baton said. He was annoyed but very patient with him.
Lady Ji-a gives back to him his orb.
"Thank you, my lady." Exzi flirted. She chuckled.
"One more thing, if you escape..."
"I know, I know, you will find and kill my friends."
"Glad to know we understand each other. You may leave." lord Baton said.
They all bowed and left the room and close the door behind them.
"The Paju stone, do you intend to kill him?" lady Ji-a asked lord, Baton.
"If he's the one, then you have nothing to worry about," he answered.
"Do you doubt him now?" lady Qiu asked with a smirk.
"I don't." Lady Ji-a responded calmly.
"Good, cause I would love to see you wrong for once." lady Qiu said.
"He's cute, and has a nice body." lady kasita said with a smile.
"If he is the, why would it choose a weak boy?"
"My brother has a point, why won't it choose one of us, we are strong and worthy enough to be a vessel, instead it seeks a weak child." Said Lord Ye.
"Because we are not destined." Stated lady Ji-a.
"F*ck destiny." Lord Woong was furious.
"You speak as if he's the one. Because I doubt it's him." Lady Qiu said.
Lord won-shik is a pre-ancient Korean who is the twin brother of lord ye, they are great fighters and swordsmen. Lord won-shik has long blue hair unlike his brother, he is quiet but deadly, he's intelligent like his wife lady Ji-a. He was dressed in all classic blue.
Lord woong is known as the psycho twin brother of Lord Won-shik, he has short red hair with a ruthless personality. He's dashing as his brother but unlike his brother, he's the most vicious of all the heads, next to him is Lady Qiu.
" Why are you silent Lord Gajji?"
" This doesn't concern me until it's confirmed he's the one." Said lord Gajji.
Lord Gajji is the youngest of the heads, he descended from zabanna two thousand years ago. He's from the jigorri tribe of the phireseeds. He was dressed in all gold with his long brown hair.
The elevator opens and the elite Phoenix squad walked out, they walked to the bar for a drink. The way they all walked to the ba and sat on the metal stools and order the same drink, Exzi could tell it was a tradition of theirs, so he just went along not wanting to feel left out.
The bar was occupied with fewer berserkers and hunters than it usually is. The bartender is a beautiful long hair small face Thai girl, she is the daughter of lord Baton prodigy.
"Hey Nin, you look beautiful as always." Exzi complimented her.
Nin is a beautiful twenty-four years old zabann'tzi jigorrian and the daughter of lord Gajji. She has longs brown and black braided hair with a dazzling smile you can't just ignore.
"Thank you Exzi, are you having what they are having?" Nin asked.
" Yes. And please don't tell me the name of the drink, because the name of the last drink created a bad taste for liquor in my mouth." He said.
"And what drink was that?" Nin asked him.
"Demon spit." He answered hesitantly.
Nin, Akisha, and the other two girls of the guild all chuckle together like they all had drunk demon spit.
"Who convince you to drink demon spit on your second day in Gan'drrakah."
"My first friends I made in Gan'drrakah. They are cool and good-looking guys, you guys would like them." Exzi said with a smile that annoy Aksha
Aksha give him a fierce gazed, that says she would knock him out if he was talking to her, and he understood instantly.
"I'm talking to Lisa and Sophie." he clarifies, afraid of Aksha gazed.
"Her name is Sophia."
"I know. Ksha." Exzi teased her.
"Don't call me that."
Nin chuckled, it was her first time to see someone talk to Akisha like that, or even dare to provoke her. Others are usually afraid of her because she kills anyone who dares provoke or disrespect her. Nin took six glasses from her glass hanger that hanged above the bottle shelves. She took out two silver bottles from her secret stash under the bar cabinet and shake them together.
"That's why I like you Exzi, you brought life in this dead realm." Nin complimented him.
"That's because he hasn't been here long. I give him eight weeks including his superpower." Aksha with much optimism
"You underestimate him. I give him a few circles."
"Thank you, Nin."
"And you overestimate him, and that's going to get in his head and get him killed, Only a miracle will make him live that long."
"You remind me of someone, she said the same thing to me on my first day here."
After shaking it for few minutes, she pours both bottles of wine in each glass, the color of both wines was pink and purple, the same as the healing crystals. From a small box under the counter, Nin took six pieces of crystals and drop each in their drinks. The crystals dissolved and the wine in the glasses started to glow, each wine glow with its respective colors.
Lisa is a beautiful brown hair twenty-five years old assassin of the dragon flames guild, with a bipolar personality.
Sophia is a twenty-six years old assassin with a sweet personality, she has dark green short hair and always wears a gentle smile like her mother. She is the adopted daughter of Lady Ji-a. She specialized in swordplay.
Exzi got off his stood and walked outside first, the others follow right after. The night sky was as beautiful as it always is. The compound was well guarded with dozens of berserkers. They took out their orbs and pop out their bikes, they wore their masks, got on their bikes, and rode out to the western dead zone under the purple sky.
The night was winding, chilly. The Rivyn gang were all completing the symbols on the wall The symbols drew on the wall hold the house together, this allows the entire guildhall to be teleported to its new location without losing any part of it.
They were all gathered downstairs except Maize who had just finished drawing the symbols upstairs, she came down and join the others. The drawing on the walls gives the place a magical design.
"All done." Maize said.
They all came together and form a circle, they join hands and chanted together; this activated the symbols on the wall and begin to glow with blue light, with just a flash of bright light, instantly the apartment teleported from the south to their new nest in the western zone near the gate of the entrance to the dead zone.
As soon as they teleported into their new sone, the symbols on the walls disappeared. As soon as they teleported Rivyn told them to gear up and get ready to leave as soon as possible because the nighttime is the best time to enter the dead zone unnoticed.
They all went up to their rooms and geared up, after Aiko had geared up she went to check on the big vibe she walked to his door and knock on the door in a pattern that he instantly knew she was knocking.
" Come," Big said in a sad voice.
Aiko enter the room and saw him struggling to put on his armor.
"Again. We are about to go biggie." Aiko was annoyed.
" Armor. Stupid," he mumbled.
"I know but armor's save, and look, armor stylish." She took a spin showing him how good she looks in her armor.
Big vibe mumbles. He always got the Armor parts all mixed up that confused him about which parts go where. Like always Aiko had to convince him to put on the armor, which leads to them delaying the others.
"Aiko hurries up we got to go."
Rivyn shouted from downstairs, Aiko and biggie hurry downstairs as soon as they were done.
"Will you and your big baby always delay us." Said Aziz, who is annoyed every time it happens.
Big Vide mumble at Aziz since he couldn't explain in words what he wanted to say to Aziz.
"Don't call him that, jerk."
"Or what little princess, can't your baby speak for himself."
Lu Chen was annoyed with his bullying habits, and give him a kick that throw him across the room.
"What the f*ck Lu?" Aziz was pissed.
"You should be happy he did it because I would have left a scar," said Rivyn.
"Do you think bullying a kid makes you look cool, then you an idiot like I always thought," Se-ri said with a cold and expected tone of voice.
She picked up her jacket and wore it, she grab Aiko by the hand and walked outside. Aziz giggle like he always did after doing something to annoyed his friends like it was a joke.
" Come on guys, I was just joking with the kid."
They all ignore him and grab their weapons and walked outside, leaving him alone and embarrassed. After taking a deep sigh he follows them outside.
The street of the western zone was a little different from the street of the southern zone. There was a lot of glow sprayed graffiti drawings on the buildings. Even their metal road had graffiti drawn on them. The western zone is famous for its artists, magic tireless skateboards riders, and light shows. The neon crystal glow brighter than the ones in the south.
The building designs are a little curve than the ones in the south. Their street was uncrowded, few people were racing through the streets with their magical floating skateboards.
Their guildhall was located in the last block near the huge metal gate that was not heavily guarded. They walked till they reach the gate, they were asked their purpose of going to the dead zone. Rivyn told them scavenging for a job, they were permitted to go through.
They walled seven hundred meters out of the city till they reached the end of the iron city. The iron city ended a short distance away from the ruins of what was once the great kingdom of iron. They could see the rooftops of the sank kingdom.
"Can't believe we are doing this." Maize said nervously.
"Too late to turn back now," Rivyn told her.
They climb down a ladder stuck to the edge of the iron city. They got down on the dusty ground.
"I haven't seen dust like this in a while," Se-ri said.
They walked till they reach the old gate of the dead zone. The gate was rusty and dusty, they enter the dead zone and halted at the stop sign. The was an old iron bridge that was used to get across to the first castle top. The ground was quicksand, so they got to the unsafe bridge and cross to the first castle top.
The roof was unsafe, so they slowly walked to the edge, not trying to fall through. the ground was unstable and rusty.
"Maize, your stick." Rivyn turns and faces Maize.
Maize took out her thiror stick and walked to the front she showed her short stick to the nest building rooftop. The stick magically grew longer, it extended the top of the other castle and stuck against a metal pole, creating a bridge to cross.
They hanged on the stick and slowly and went across to the next castle, they did the same to get to the next castle as well. When they were walking to the edge of the castle rooftop they stepped on an unsafe part of the roof and fell through. The floors hard large holes through them, they fell three-floor unto the solid bloody iron floor. They panic when they found themselves laying is still blood.
Aiko scream when she saw the long hall overfill with decayed corpses. Their sight was terrifying.
"Where in the name of Christ have we just enter." Maize asked with her body shivering in panic.
"Hell."
