In the bed laid a teenager. He had an afro that expanded around his head covering a bit of his forehead. His nose was perfectly symmetrical and wide and didn't point out to much. His lips irritated ever so slightly. His brown unblemished skin dazzled within the sunlight gleaming through the window. Until a ray hit him directly in his shut eyes subtly waking him from his deep slumber. He slowly opened his eyes and stretched his body with that ever so satisfying grunt.
"SHIT!" He said noticing the time. He sprinted out of his room putting on his clothes he picked out the night before. Starting to dash down the stairs while simultaneously mentally mapping out how to efficiently put his shoes on, grab his keys, and his bike. Without any time wasted he jumped down the last 6 or so steps gliding through the air. But he knew better than to relax instead he readied himself for impact. Pointing his feet downwards he landed softly on the floor on his toes with his knees safely taking the impact like a spring.
"Gotta protect those joints" He chuckled to himself as he remembered the one time he hyper extended his knee when he got too carefree midair making him cringe for a brief moment. It would've been obvious to any outsider that he was a veteran when it came to rushing out of the door.
It had become a habit to get lost in a world of dreams. Without a second wasted he swiftly grabbed his shoes as he ran past. "Where jus where the fuck did I leave my keys!" He grimaced. After a brief moment he suddenly jolted remembering exactly where he left them. He stuffed them in his pocket not wasting a second.
Hopping on one foot trying to manage to put his shoe on he made a mad dash or more like hop to the door. There his bike stood off to the side. As if timed perfectly Cruz managed to slip his heel in his shoe. He grabbed the bike and pulled his keys out of his pocket after unlocking and opening the door. After closing the door behind him and locking it he made sure to give it an extra push for good measure.
And he was off in blur pedaling so fast the chain lost the feel of friction and instead a loose feeling over came his legs as if there was no resistance. "Fucking hell. Ms. Smith is gonna kill me if I'm late again." He grumbled. Speeding up ignoring the burning in his quads he quickly reached an intersection. Not minding the count down on the meter being at only 5 seconds he tried to push past his limits. He didn't want to risk being late. Plus what are the chances he'll get hit theres always a second or so between the meter and the light change. However in this moment whether it was pure luck or fate a glitch in the cities scanners occurred. Changing the lights horizontal to him to red and changing the lights lateral to him green there happened to be a Cargo truck was on its way for delivery already behind schedule. The driver on thin ice with his boss decided that he needed to speed up. Its funny really. If that driver hadn't fucked up all those times at work. If the tiny little glitch in the system hadn't happened. Cruz would pass on by like any other day. But life had other plans.
BOOM!!
Cruz didnt even have a chance to react. Sent flying he hit the ground and proceeded to roll for a few feet. "What…jus…happened." He choked out. His eye lids grew heavy and a drowsiness took over. Suddenly he succumbed.

UNKNOWN
In a black space, a ball of light floated there in the middle.
"H-Helloooo, anyone there?" He shouted, or something akin to a shout since he was a giant ball of light, but to his misfortune, no one answered. Then suddenly he remembered being hit like a truck. All the memories of the recent events passed through his head, or at least what should be his head, hitting him like a...truck. Ironic, no?
'I'm really dead' he thought. Appalled at his situation. 'I'm really REALLY dead' he thought again but with more agitation. 'No way no no no no. This is forever no breaks no stopping and no end.' He thought as he realized the caliber of the current scenario. He would be in this dark pitch-black space forever. Never to stop.
Until suddenly...
[ Calibrating...Please Wait ]
"whoa, wha-what the fuck! What the fuck was that!?" He exclaimed hearing a voice in his head. One that was robotic. The closest description he could think of was a number of A.I. in his world. It was creepier than you would think when having thoughts inside your mind that weren't your own.
"Wait. No fucking way!!!" Cruz was smart. He was quick on his feet when it came to adapting to situations. Something he had to learn in his previous life. It didn't take long for him to understand what was happening. The fact that he was dead and a being in his mind saying, "calibrating..." was more than enough clues to figure out what exactly was going on. Any fan of light novels could figure it out.
"Nah! I can't believe it!! I thought it was Impossible!!!" Immediately the excitement he felt overwhelmed the previous anxiety and panic he had, had a moment before. His wildest dreams had come true. The thing that he would constantly daydream about had finally happened to him. He was 'living' it...or something in between living and dying. But he didn't care.
"Hello?" He said in response to the system.
[ Hello, Cruz]
[ Would you like to customize current appearance?]
[Yes/No]
He pondered and then he immediately chose yes. His appearance was extremely good and he knew it however, he wanted to do just one thing.
[What would you like to customize?]
"Ummm, add 1 inch of height to make me six foot" Cruz said finally being able to even out his height.
[ Confirmed. Is that all? ]
"Yes." He swiftly said.
[Confirmed. Host gets to choose 1 world to be sent too and 3 wishes.]
"Wait why am I even getting all of this?"
[I am just a messenger however the sender sends his regards to you. As he was flying past your world he grew to lax in covering his Aura. As such a sliver of it passed through and cause a chain reaction. This eventually led to your demise. As he felt bad he sent me to send you to a world of your choice and to grant 3 wishes of your choosing. However please keep in mind that those wishes cannot be too powerful in nature. As such through my discretion as proxy I will be placing limitations and caps on said wishes. I also hold the authority to outright reject your wish. So please don't pick anything too tremendous.]
Cruz sorted through all of his memories until a single one stood out. A world with immense detail. "For my world, I'll choose Marvel."
[…Confirmed]
"For my first wish please give me my same looks from my last life."
[…Confirmed]
"For my second wish please give me the power to attack, heal, and protect with all forms of music through all applications including me."
[…confirmed]
"Lastly…please buffer my mental maturity until I reach a certain threshold."
[….Confirmed. Goodbye.]
"WAIT DO I AT LEAST GET A FA-!!" He couldn't react before he lost consciousness.
