'What the~ ' I cursed inwardly as I saw Master silently crying while looking at the void.
I just saw her smiling while watching the view of the scale of land below a while ago. But I just turned around for a few seconds, when I looked again, she's suddenly crying?
'I guess she has a backstory ' I thought to myself, doubtful. I felt pretty curious, but at the second thought, I am reluctant to ask. I don't want to dig too much about her, or else, I'll just get more involved with her.
"Master, do you have something you want to share? " I don't know, maybe because at the end of the day, my Master, my body and mouth made the opposite of my decision. I went next to her and asked, worried.
"What are you talking about, I just got some dirt in my eyes! " My Master gave me a death glare and turned her face sideways. She used her hands and secretly Dried her tears.
'Does the Master think I am an idiot? With the barrier she installed, how the hell could dirt reach her eyes? We are also too high from the land to have some dirt accidentally fly next to us! ' Doubts one by one appeared in my head 'Not to mention, she's also more powerful than me. "Haha! You have a point! " She unexpectedly gave up so fast. "Okay, after all, we are still too far from our destination. I'll tell you one theory that I read in an ancient book that I found on one of my dangerous journeys. "

She turned silent for a few minutes and acted in deep thought.
After tens of minutes passed, only then she started her story; she looked at the sky while talking as if her own story mesmerized her.
"At the beginning of the world. The creator of the Ancient Being that was first to get born in this world decided to create his own invention. "

"He created supreme races; the Dragon, the Kirin, and the Phoenix. "
"He created three mythical creatures at the beginning to bring entertainment to himself. He created heaven and hid there and just watched the three creatures oppose each other. "
"The Dragons first met the Phoenix, and he fell in love with her. Unfortunately, the Kirin also witnessed the beauty of the Phoenix and also fell in love with her. And so, the battle between the Dragon and the Kirin started. "
"The battle lasted for hundreds of years, but in the end, no one won and they both ended up in a draw. "
"They decided to just ask the Phoenix to answer who would she choose between the two of them. "
"And the Phoenix answered; "I don't accept any of you two. I want to live as pure and will live forever alone. " After that, the Phoenix disappeared and left the two dumbfounded idiots "
"However, they both didn't get what they wanted. The enemy didn't get what he wanted, and so, themselves. It didn't solve that issue. They decided to kill each other. "
"From then on, the Kirin and the dragon became the enemy of each other. " Then she stopped talking.
"Then...? " Seeing her stop the story, I felt something amiss and asked.
Master gave me a blank look and replied: " What do you mean by 'then?'? "
'I knew it, she's toying with me!' I gave her back her blank look and said; " I asked why mana exists and you said you'll explain"
"Ohhh" Master nodded her head, "So, do you want to know? " She asked.
"Yes," I nodded my head again and again.
"Oki" Master nodded her head too. "Me too! " Then she dropped a bomb.
My whole world felt like it just broke into pieces. I can feel my whole body has a lot of energy surging in it and want to destroy my Master.
"WHAT~ what do you mean, Master?! " I was about to scold her when I saw the changes in her eyes. I quickly lowered my voice and asked.
" Everything has reasons behind it. The existence of ancient beings, supreme races, and also mana. But, you have to know that heaven prohibits any information regarding this to be spread. If you are just your real self right now, offending heaven is not something you should dream about. " Master looked at me and shook her head. Then she continued; "If you want to learn something as profound as that, you need to be more powerful! "
