I stretched my left hand towards him, trying to grab his right hand as we both hanged on a medium sized rock just below the cliff of Mount ozz , beside us was a water fall gushing at maximum speed, each time I looked down the only thing I could see was a wide and shallow looking river surrounded by some sort of mist , the rock I held onto was making cracking and creeking noises like a rickety staircase. Justin held onto my leg, he could tell that it couldn't hold the both of us any longer . Lana... I have an idea , he said. the pressure from the waterfall became faster and more vigorous, it felt like the cliff we were hanging unto was going to come crumbling down and burying us with it . what it is, the water is flowing too much, just hang on I'll try and pull you up, the water was gushing at our faces , we were terribly drenched and I could bearly open my eyes, my hands and wrists became weaker and so was his. I can't hold on any longer Justin, on the count of three, you'll reach for my hand again and I'll pull you up, as I stretched my hand towards him, my left to be precise the rocks around the cliff started to split into half, it was only a matter of minutes before it would be completely cracked and I was praying dearly that it wouldn't. "I can't watch you end your life because of me, at least if one of us survives I'll be glad that it'll be you" , I could see the pain in his eyes and he could she the pain in mine , a tear came rolling down my cheek , I didn't want to let him go, then the rocks came rolling down faster than I expected, it started from the waterfall and gradually little pebbles began to fall on us, it seemed like an earthquake, the whole mountain was shaking , let me go lana , I told you I can't, I rather die with you than abandon you , you're my best friend, he stretched his right hand towards me, he leaned in and wiped my tears and as I was about to grab his hand ..... he let go and.....he fell,Justin!!!!!!!!!!!, the last words I heard him say was keep going !!!! , then the real earthquake began , I reached for the nearest rock but tons of rocks were crumbling down as I climbed slowly but swiftly, with no guiding rope or anything to break my fall, it was me versus mother nature, but I couldn't stop myself from crying and I couldn't look back either, I didn't even hear him land, but I kept hearing that voice telling me to keep going !! keep going!! and I did, before the cliff was completely cut of from the mountain I leaped forward and it felt like I flew , I could feel the sun beaming on my face ,like something lifted me and I was thrown up by this mysterious wind and I landed back on top of the mountain, well I fell on top of the mountain I rolled for five seconds and I stopped. I had a few scratches and bruises on my arms, elbows ,knees and the left side of my head , I mustered some strength and gradually stood up one knee at a time and I saw something that marveled me till this very day, the rocks had covered almost everything in site , it seemed like there was actually a landslide?? , I couldn't really tell but all I knew was that this was the mightiest disaster I've ever witnessed , I Don't know how I survived it, I took a deep breath with my tears still flowing like a river down my cheeks as the wind blew softly with it's cold wind and then It dawned on me my best friend, someone I cared so much about....that Justin.... Justin was gone.
