Yesterday, I told you about Emma's bridal shower and wedding with my uncle. After the party, they went home and I went to the park when I saw George. He walks me home and talks about our careers until he told me that he, he never forget about me.
Today- 6:30 a.m
I wake up in my bed while my head is still hurting because of the alcohol yesterday. Then, when I look at myself, I saw that I was only covering myself with a blanket.
Maybe, I just only remove my clothes because it's hot. I get the bathrobe in the chair and wear it. I then, get my clothes on the floor when I realize that there is a man's clothes in here as well.
I was shocked because I suddenly remember that I forgot how I got home. Then, I realize... I really did saw George last night.
So... so, it was never a dream. I... we... Did we? I got confused and I don't know what to do when... I saw someone walking to the room. I get my gun in my bag and point it at the door.
The footstep is getting closer and the door was open. I... then... George comes in and said, "Good morning. I prepared breakfast for you..." He then realizes that I was awake and my gun is pointing in his head.
Then he said, "uhm... Hi? Good morning?" So, it was really not a dream. I kneel down on the floor and said, "George, are we... Did we... Did I saw you last night? Right?" I asked him telling him that this was not true but... "Uhm..." He scratched the back of his head said, "actually, we did?... You did... I saw you at the park yesterday and... I walk you home..."
No, no, nooo! So, it was never a dream then. It's true. I don't know why reacted this way but I just bow down my head and sits on the floor.
George then don't know what to do and said, "did I do something wrong? Did I..." I stop him from talking by, putting my finger in his face. "No, nothing's wrong. It's just..." Then I sighed and continues, "it's just I thought that you are going to leave again or that it was just a dream that I want to happen. But, then I saw you here today and it's just... I don't know overwhelming I guess." I said.
He then sits beside me and said, "it's fine... I know I left and I am sorry but I am here now. And like I promised, I came back."
Yes, he did come back. And our reunion happened while I was drunk and I did not expect him to do this for me.
After that, I apologize for what happened earlier. "Uhm about earlier. I would like to apologize for what I did. I point a gun in your head and that was really bad if something had happened to you in the house of the governor." Then, he looked at me for a moment then laughs, "HAHAHA. I am sorry, I thought you are still sleeping so I would prepare something for you. And I would like to apologize as well if you might kill me because you forgot that I was here." When he said that I suddenly burst into laughter and he laughs as well.
We eat at the dining table after I clean the bed. "Here I hope you still eat it even it was not hot anymore." George brings the plate in front of me. He cooked a pancake with eggs and bacon and I said. "Well, you cooked it so I appreciate it, as well as speaking before I pull the trigger." He then smirks.
I first eat the pancake but, when I eat it the taste feels different. I take a bite again but, the normal pancake is not the same as this pancake. I am not saying that he doesn't cook well because he cooks the egg nicely as well as the bacon but, I don't know about the pancake just tastes different. I continue to eat it and smiled at George.
"Well?" He asked. Then I replied, "it's good." "Just good?" He looked at me with questions on his face. Then I smirk, "fine! It's better and nice and best" then he smiled.
After eating breakfast. We ride in the elevator and walk in the lobby. When I look outside and found out that there were many reporters waiting for us outside.
"Sh*t" I pull George on the storage room before they see us again. Then, he asked, "what? Why are we here?"
I told him that there are reporters outside. "Oh well that sucks but why don't you just clarify things with them. Tell them we are friends or maybe... Maybe we are lovers."
I looked at him for a moment and then when I will say something, someone called me. "Hello" "Hello, Alexandra, where are you? Are you really with George Mane last night?" Emma asked. Then I looked again to George and replied, "uhm... Yes? After I send you home, I walk home but I went a little detour to the park and that's where I met him."
Emma was listening to the call when she replied, "well it's already on the news, I will send you the link of what they said." "Wait, just tell me already." "No, look at it yourself. Bye!" Then she hangs up. "Uhh really!"
She then sends me the link. Inside the link is an article between me and George. I open it up and it said.
"The EverEase Governor was spotted with the son of Mane Village governor. Is there a possibility that they are secret lovers or just coworkers?"
Then in the comments, most of them are happy or glad "oh my god... They look good at each other. I hope they really are a couple."
But some are haters, "Nooo, that Mr. should marry a woman who is more suitable with him. He is an important person from the Mane Village so he must marry someone like from the Rich or Dome Village."
But the thing is, the haters got more hate because of their comments. People are fighting whether we are a couple or not which is nonsense then, I looked again at George and he asked, "well what are you going to do Ms. Madden?" I smiled and said, "fine let's just get this over it. The more spotlight I get, the more haters hate me. And they might kill me one day"
Then, George replied, "well if that happens I will bury you well for not twisting their hands and just died instead." He humorous said it. I looked at him in a scary way and said, "very funny"
Then, we head outside the storage room and I wear my glasses. The reporters then saw us and got noisy again.
"Ms. Madden, is it really true that you are in love with Mr. Mane?"
"Ms. Madden, is your relationship with Mr. Mane recent or it is a secret relationship?"
The reporters are very noisy then, someone said, "Ms. Madden, did you sleep with Mr. Mane yesterday?" The reporters then got quiet and I look around who said it.
I know I shouldn't do anything because of my reputation but a nosy reporter or someone who asked something like this gets me irritated.
When I looked around George then stop me by putting his hand in my arm. "Alexandra don't do something that can make you in trouble." He whispered in my ears. Then I told him, "relax I already got this one" he removes his hand in my arms and I found the nosy reporter.
"Well could you please ask your question again" I smiled but the reporter knows it's not good. "Well... Uhm... Did you... Uhm... Ms. Madden sleep with... Uhm Mr. Mane?" He said slowly. "Uhm could you please repeat it, I haven't heard it properly." Then the nosy reporter got silent so did the other reporters. Then, to remove the tension I just comment. "My relationship with Mr. Mane is just between us? But to clarify things we..." I looked at him then when I will speak he interrupted. "We are a couple"
My expression really changes into a surprise. I still haven't decided if I will really am ready for this or what but he... Already said it.
Then, when he said it I thought it was over. He grabs me beside him and kisses me.
