I was finally able to walk months after my injury, but I had to stay in the hospital for a week before being discharged.
Dr. Nakano appeared out of nowhere. He entered the room with a gloomy expression on his face. He sat in the chair and walked towards me.

"How are you?" he inquired. "I'm fine now, thanks for the medication."
I could see the look in his eyes when he said, "I see." He became depressed because he knew I was upset with him.

"for what?" I replied,
"for letting my anger out that day," to which he replied,
"it's ok, a father always thinks of his daughter and would go angry if anyone said anything bad about their children." I consoled him,
"Thank you, for everything I know you are not the culprit, I could see when you are around Itsuki," Dr. Nakano said.
As he gripped my hand, I was taken aback. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect the girls," he sobbed,
"but it's okay, things happen, you're not to blame." I rubbed his back.
" if Yotsuba was alive, you would have been my son in law, we could be happy again"
" I know but we can't bring our past back" I said
" true" he said
He walked near the window and looked at the sky. "Please forgive me for everything I said to make you and your family flee."
" it's ok sir"
He smiles, " could you do one thing" he said
" what ?"
He takes my hand in his and gives me a ring.
I was shocked "this belonged to the girl's mother when I proposed to her, please wear it to Itsuki" "what, how can I accept this" I said
"it belonged to her, I want to give it to someone else who's worthy, I'm getting old and don't have grandkids, please accept this"
he swept with tears
"of course father, I will" I said he hugged me and left.
After a few hours, Itsuki arrived and said, "I bought apples, let me cut it."
I was nervous for a second,

"your father gave this to you as a gift" I asked her "what ?" she asked
"Itsuki, would you like to spend our lives together, have a child together, grow old together as long as we breathe our last breath, Would you Itsuki Nakano take this opportunity to marry me?" I confessed to her
Tears came streaming down her cheeks, "yes, yes, yes"
I placed the ring on her finger, and we hugged.
Someone was scratching the door outside our door, and it was Rena, her face twisted with rage.
She threw things in her house and said, "You are mine, Fuutarou, mine,"
As she looked in the mirror.
