At the Xanders, Ruby knelt in the torrential rain at their doorstep. She shouted over and over again, "Please, Ms. Xander, show some mercy and save my daughter!"
"Ms. Xanders! Please, I beg you!"
"As long as it'll save my daughter, I'll do whatever you ask me to!"
"I'm to blame for everything, but Nelly is innocent!"
"She's just a child! She isn't even four years old yet!"
Didn't Ruby know that what she was doing was terribly foolish and, in fact, even very shameful? She did!
But she had no other choice.
Sebastian had captured her daughter, but there was nothing Ruby could do! She could only come here and beg Lucy for help!
