Kagami's schedule for the next few days were rather chaotic. His morning jogs were replaced with a much more tiring workout session with Yoruichi. Aafter which he'd bathe and meetup with both girls and walk to school while trying to avoid Soul Society patrols. He'd then spend the day as normally as possible while avoiding Ichigo. At first it was hard because he just sprang out of nowhere but after a while it seemed that he too decided to avoid Kagami.
Another thing to note was that although Ichigo was no longer on Hollow slaying duty he and Rukia could still be seen disappearing frequently throughout the days. Tatsuki and Orihime was now aware of what was happening so they were unbothered but the same could not be said for the rest of the group. Keigo and Chizuru often speculated that they may be dating but seeing that Orihime and Tatsuki seemed unresponsive to their questions, the topic eventually faded.
After school both girls would follow Kagami to Kisuke's where they'd receive training from Yoruichi. At first he was worried about leaving them with the sadist but they'd always come back perfectly fine, albeit being exhausted. And they'd never tell him the details of the training but he could tell both girls were gradually getting more confident in their actions.
Things were going well for him. He was constantly getting stronger and he now had a group of friends he was comfortable with plus he was still hidden from Soul Society's eyes. Knowing that it couldn't get better Kagami became more guarded than ever. This was always the point where things would fall apart for the protagonist. He couldn't afford to mess up now because various parts of the plot was already altered.
As time passed Kagami could be seen walking with both Orihime and Tatsuki almost everyday to the point where no one questioned their relationship anymore. Except for one person.
"Why won't you talk to me? Look I'll admit he's been a great guy so far and he's given me no reason to hate him but.....I don't trust him." (Ichigo)
"Good lord Ichigo leave it alone! I've told you before he's a great guy and I won't just stop talking to him. As for you 'warning' me and Orihime? we're quite happy how we are thank you." (Tatsuki)
Ichigo had tried to get both girls to question Kagami but as they had already known his secret they refused. Eventually he began trying to get them to stay away from him but despite everything they stayed. He couldn't understand why everyone was so trusting of this guy. Rukia, Orihime, Tatsuki.....even Chad was on his side. It couldn't be that he had brainwashed them right? Seeing as there was Hollows, it couldn't be impossible right?
"Look all I'm saying is take care alright. Your boyfriend is definitely hiding something and I'd prefer Orihime wouldn't get involved." (Ichigo)
'Just Orihime?!! God he's such an idiot. I don't even know why I still bother.' (Tatsuki)
"First off do you know that while you're here trying to bring him down he's actually been talking nothing but good about you. He feels terrible about causing a rift between us but YOU caused this Ichigo! And hate to say this but Orihime really likes him. He's treated her so well that not a day goes by that she doesn't smile. Look I know you like her but unless you stop being such an idiot then she's long gone. And by the way he's not my boyfriend....yet." (Tatsuki)
Cold water ran over Ichigo's body as the realization struck him. Could he actually have been wrong? Looking at it realistically he had no reason to hate Kagami but could he really lose Orihime? Part of him was glad she was happy but the other half hated Kagami and wanted nothing more than to leave him beaten in a random alleyway.
Another shock was that Tatsuki actually liked him. In a way that was the biggest shock! Tatsuki was always such a tomboy he had a hard time wrapping his head around the fact that she liked someone. How would he have known that just a few weeks ago she had liked him instead?
Seeing that it was taking time for the news to soak in she left him with one final parting message.
"Look we've been friends for too long for this to split us up but you need to apologize.....oh but be careful how you approach him. Because of how much you sized him up in the beginning.....he thinks you might be a player for the other team. HAHAHA!!" (Tatsuki)
At first she held in her laughter but seeing Ichigo's fast changing expression, she couldn't help but laugh out loud. Seeing his childhood friend dying of laughter brought back warm feelings and Ichigo couldn't help but smile. Yeah they were both at odds right now but they would be alright.
Unbeknownst to them not too far away there was a pair a glasses looking in their direction. The wearer of said glasses couldn't help grinding his teeth with rage apparent on his face. He spared one final glance before turning around and leaving coated in ill intent.

June 18th.
Kagami lay in bed staring at the ceiling thinking about his plans and possible changes to them. The anniversary of Ichigo's mother's death was yesterday and Kagami missed it because he spent the day training with Yoruichi. Did he regret missing the fight with Grand Fisher? Nope. Orihime and Tatsuki took a break yesterday so it was just him and Yoruichi for the entire day. It was his first time flirting with a black eye but he would rate it an overall 9/10 experience. Of course he made sure to tell Yoruichi that any other girl would get a -2.
The only thing special to take note of was that Ichigo managed to kill Grand Fisher. It was understandably a big moment for him and surprisingly Rukia was quite supportive throughout it. Kagami thought that maybe the IchigoxRukia ship might sail after all.
Another change is that Kon never happened. It might be because there's a lot of Soul Reapers or it might be something else but Rukia never felt the need to get Ichigo a modsoul. Kagami had mixed feelings about this because Kon was both funny and annoying at times but he decided to leave things as they were.
His worries right now whether Ishida might do something stupid. His hate for soul Reapers was no secret and there was an excess of them recently so his patience was likely growing thin. Originally he waited until the end of semester exams but would he last that long this time? And if that wasn't enough trouble his days were now harder than ever.
Spending his days surrounded by beauties was harder than it seemed....especially when he no longer had any privacy. He'd now wake up to a greeting from his little brother every morning. He couldn't continue like this.
"Sigh. I think I need my own place again." (Kagami)
"Why? Tired of me already?" (???)
"No just can't really find a chance to- Wait Yoruichi why are you here??!" (Kagami)
Yoruichi could be seen halfway through the window in his room looking down at him in bed. Kagami hurried to sit up and cover his mostly naked body from the sudden intruder. This of course made Yoruichi break out in laughter. She had snuck into his room several times and had long noticed his condition but she wouldn't mention that.
"Fufufu. When you've calmed down meet me outside..... And I know that young people have a lot of energy but don't keep me waiting." (Yoruichi)
Kagami turned around ready to exercise his abundant knowledge of modern day curses but Yoruichi was already gone. After a few deep breaths Kagami reluctantly took a cold bath and got dressed and left the house. Because he was reluctant to move Kagami simply threw on a clean jersey and a jeans pants but Yoruichi's attire left him briefly stunned.
When she came to his room she wore her usual combat uniform which she found comfortable, practical and stylish so she rarely wore anything else. But today she wore an incredibly short silver pants with a matching jacket which exposed her midsection. An orange bra could be seen from her cleavage and Kagami's hormonal brain was left short circuiting.
'She obviously did this to tease me about this morning but DAMMMNNNNN. But HOW THE HELL am I supposed to pay attention to anything else now?' (Kagami)
Kagmi simply stared at Yoruichi wordlessly and despite knowing it might be a little creepy he couldn't help it. Several times he had to remind himself to swallow before he finally snapped out of it. Looking at the smile on Yoruichi's face it was apparent this was the reaction she wanted and Kagami was left with the thought that maybe she dressed up for him.
Needless to say the altercation that morning was quickly forgotten and they both embarked on their journey. Where were they headed? Kagami didn't know and frankly he didn't care. He simply let her lead and was satisfied to walk either beside her or behind her.
The stares that would usually bother him only heightened his mood. Some stared because it was rare seeing a black person in Japan but then they stared because Yoruichi was simply gorgeous. She carried an unapproachable yet flirtatious air about her that attracted the eye but glued the feet. To the outside eye it appeared that he was just showing off his gorgeous foreign girlfriend and his ego soaked up every bit of it.
"Had enough yet?" (Yoruichi)
"Huh?" (Kagami)
"I left you because I know guys have this need to show off but no girl likes it when the guy she dresses up for doesn't pay attention to her." (Yoruichi)
'Eh?' (Kagami)
"Eh?" (Kagami)
Seeing his speechless face Yoruichi once again laughed and Kagami could feel his chest tighten. She clearly admitted that she dressed up for him. Yoruichi's appearance had stunned him stupid but was he really okay with her taking the initiative on their first date? No way. He might be stunned but he was in now way inexperienced.
Kagami smirked and without a word walked up and linked his arm around Yoruichi's and pulled her closer. They now stood face to face smiling to each other. Kagami knew if he moved forward just 3 inches more they'd kiss but as if sensing his intentions, Yoruichi smiled mischievously and started dragging him forward.
"Not so fast little one. Keep me entertained and then maybe we'll see about that." (Yoruichi)
Kagami accepted her challenge and decided he'd spend every cent if it meant getting with Yoruichi. And afterall he was still getting paid from the old man which he had rarely touched. Surely he had enough money to spoil 'his' lady right? Right?
