... And just like that... Ragnarok saw a being that had an aura above anything he have ever seen.
"HEHEHE- HUH-" before victor could even see the being's hand just at the right side of his face... Even before he could even process what was going on... He instantaneously got imploded and collapsed into a small size ball, until he got absorbed into the right hand of the dark being. The implosion was so quick and fast that the speed broke the sound barrier and produced a very loud bang noise that echoed through out the land.
'...S...SUCH POWER... IF I STAY HERE ANY LONGER... I WILL MEET MY DEMISE' Ragnarok thought, as he stood in front of the void humanoid creature, enclosed within a white cloth... As if it has no other colour on its body... It's just white... 'And still I feel no trace of mana within him... Not even dark mana.'
..... Like as if mana just flows into it and... Vanish.
Ragnarok POV
'HMMM THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE... HOW CAN THIS BEING STILL BE STANDING WHEN IT DOESN'T HAVE A SINGLE TRACE OF MANA WITHIN.' I pondered, as I snapped out of my shocked state and continued to stare at this entity. "THIS IS UNHEARD OF"
The void being continued to stare at me... as if it was studying me. 'HMMM COULD IT BE THAT IT SEARCHES FOR LIFE MANA TO ABSORB... SEEMS TO BE IT... IM A BEING OF PURE DARK MANA... WHILE THAT FLAME PRIEST STILL HAD SOME LIFE MANA WITHIN HI-'
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" the white being roared out in aloud thunderous shout and started to release a massive amount of mana around the surrounding terrain, as the amount of force from it was able to cause the air to become thick and burning hot.
"WHAT IS THIS" I prepare myself to brace from any incoming attacks, but it was too late, as the white being had blitz in front of me, ready to finish me off like the priest. "AAAHHH HOW DARE YOU LOOK DOWN ON ME! ERUPTION!"
I launched an offensive attack at the being In front of me, not caring about it's effect on me from this proximity... but then something so shocking happened before my very eyes... And that was the being was not taking any attack at all, as the attack was stopped by an invisible shield of some sort.
"WHAT! HOW?!" I shouted out in anger and frustration. I was wondering how this could be possible, but then to my utmost... The white being started to move it's right hand through the blast, as if it had some kind of repelling force that prevents the blast from making contact from it. It's hand started to reach for my chest... Ready to seal my fate...
'JUST WHAT IN THE COSMOS IS THIS ACCURSED MONSTER' "STAY AWAY! AAAAARRRGGGHHHH" I roared out in anger, drawing out some hamjis to help me get away from the white being, as they all charged at it, gaining it's attention from all sides... Giving me enough time to make some distance between me and the void being.
'FINALLY SOME DISTANCE!' I took a huge leap into the forest behind, hoping to hid myself from the void being and plan a counter attack against it. Though it seems that the hamjis I called should be enough to keep him at bay... But I was so wrong.
"AAAAAHHHHHH" the huge hamji launched at the void being, but then in a blitz move; the Beast was instantly absolved and as this happened, the void being released a massive energy wave around it. Which in the process of contact with the other hamjis, absolved them all... And the wave was heading towards my direction too.
"DAMN IT! DARK EXPLOSION!!" I attacked with heavy power, as the attack blocked and neutralized the absorption wave released by the void being. But as the dust from the two collided attack cleared... I was met with the most heart dropping sight... "...H-HOW?"
The void being had his hand already at the Centre of my chest... A point blank attack... Totally unavoidable, and the mana radiating from him at this close range... Was even more off than before. 'A BEING OF ABSOLUTELY NO MANA... DEAD OR ALIVE... NOTHING BUT TOTAL VOID... BUT YET... YOU'RE VERY BEING RADIATES... THE COLD HUNGER OF... DEATH... YOU'RE THE BOY FROM BEFORE'
"IT SEEMS I'VE LOST AGAIN TO YOU..... UNLIVING ONE" I resorted, as I awaited for my immediate and unavoidable Doom, accepting my fate
".....z-zero.." the void being muttered out, confusing Ragnarok in the process.
"WHA-" a massive explosion cut off Ragnarok in mid sentence, as everything turned bright white.

'...I came to late... I couldn't save them... I've lost them...Mia...zero... The orphanage... All gone...' I stared at the two brawling titans, as I started to lose my consciousness... And probably my life... Again... Again...again, why?

'they are all the same... They are all... Just monsters' I thought as I closed my eyes with the last sight of a humongous explosion of white and black flames. 'i'm sorry... Mia... Zero... Please forgive me.'

Nobody's p.o.v
Dante's body was being consumed by the surrounding white flames, and the sound of burning flesh filled the terrain... But then suddenly the seal tattoo on Dante's right arm began to turn white, as it started to spread all over his body overtaking the burning flames and adsorbing the white flames in an instant.
His limbed body started to stand up, as a sudden dense aura of mana started to release into the surrounding, absorbing all the flames and living mana out of every living being within its aura field... as it turns it's attention to the noticeable source of mana far away in the distance. His body started to move on its own heading towards the source, as hamjis close by were feeling the consuming aura around it, a hunger even greater than there's... Where every form of mana... Becomes void.
"...ma...na..." muttered out the void being, as it continues to move like towards the two titans... but then as it saw them close up, it immediately sighted for the closest one to reach, just like a hunter searching for it's prey... time for waiting was over... And now it was the time... To consume it all.

'....why....' I tried to move my body but I seemed to be immobilized, though I was fully awake something didn't feel right... I opened my eyes to reveal that I was in a void space and it seems that my body was encased in a white flaming substance... And it didn't burn.. instead it was just constricting and started to make me drift into a deep sleep... It felt like as if it wanted me to remain asleep... Never to wake up.... It wanted to consume me within it...
'... Father Alfred... rin.... T-trinity...' I started to close my eyes, as they continued to become heavier and heavier... ' I'm nothing but trouble, nothing always seem to make it better, instead thing keep getting worse... After spending thousands of years in the limbo... After overcoming despair... Achieving powers beyond anyone could think off... All just to Lose it all... Due to the seal... I will never know peace... Due to despair... I can never find peace... forgive me zero... Forgive Mia... I have tried, but it seems that you're better off without me... I only bring despair... And now you're suffering for it... Please... Forgive m-."
I was cut off by a calming hug, as the white flames around me had started to morph, as a figure was seen hugging me from behind... I could see golden locks flowing around me... And then came a soft voice... One that I could never forget "please Tobi... Stay strong"
"T-Trinity" I muttered out in shock. "... please... Don't give up... I know you're strong enough to overcome this... You always have... And always will... Please save zero."
"M-Mia" I muttered out again, as I was confused but before I knew it, the sky void begin to clear... To show Zero and Mia... Staring at me.
"Come on Tobi" mia shouted softly.
"Seriously giving up now... Well then I guess it's a win for me then hehe come on mercenary." Zero spoke out with a grin on his face.
"Mia... Zero..." I muttered out, as I continue to remain stagnant in air... But then the arms around me from the back came in front of me and there I saw it...
"Please... Save zero... Tobi" I saw Mia face show clearly.
"..Mia... M-MIA!" I suddenly broke out of the white flames, sighting the void as it started to clear and reveal a huge mirror far away... And Zero was chained to the mirror. I tried to reach for it, but it seemed that I won't make it, as Zero was being consumed by the chains attached to him from the mirror and right there... I finally saw it... Zero was still alive... There was still a way, and I knew what had to be done. "ZEROOO HANG ON!"
I continued to push as much as I could, until the flame around me, constricting me started to break... and with a final effort I broke the flames and blitz towards Zero and started to pull him away from the mirror... But it seemed that the chains were connected to an entity at the other side of the mirror... Could it be. 'He must be bonded to the hamji... and could it be that the hamji is in control so it is at the other side of the mirror... It's worth a shot.'
I grabbed zero and ran into the mirror as the chains from Zero shattered and reattached to the demon dragging it back to the void world I brought Zero from... But in a way... The monster seemed shocked to see me... And with that I faced Zero as he started to fade... "Z-Zero" And with that I was consumed by a bright light.
World of the living
I felt my body in a very intense heat, as I saw myself holding a cracking shell of Ragnarok as the opened parts revealed Zero... And it seemed that I myself was cracking too though it seems that I was absorbing the dark essence of Ragnarok.'... Damn it, this is bad, if I continue to absorb him totally... I might kill him in the process...'
Flashback
"REMEMBER THIS SAGE... EVEN THOUGH WE ARE LINKED... I CAN STILL TAKE OVER YOUR BODY... THE SEAL MIGHT STOP ME... BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IT FORMS THE LINK BETWEEN US... IT PREVENTS US FROM EXISTING AT ONCE... SO WHEN I EXIST ... YOU DO NOT... WHEN YOU EXIST... I DO NOT... I MIGHT BE EXISTING WITH YOU RIGHT NOW.. BUT IM FAR TO WEAKEN TO EXIST DUE TO THE SEAL... SO YOU'RE EXISTING NOW... BUT NOT FOR LONG THOUGH." Death scowled, as he vanished into thin air... Though I didn't understand what he meant... But I got the message.. loud and clear.
" well we'll see about that death... I won't let you win."

'Of course... I just need to weaken Ragnarok so that the seal on Zero does the rest..' "AAAAAHHHHHH" I made sure to absorb and weaken Ragnarok, as the crack started to get more and more, until it shattered and revealed... Zero, though it seemed that the mana I absorbed had started to become very violent, as even the Terrain could not handle it. I noticed that the effect would also harm Zero in the process, and if I was to release this energy right now... Who knows the magnitude of the aftermath... There was only one way to solve this.
"Time to take this airborne" I resorted, kneeling to the ground preparing for a huge leap. I made the leap through the air, shattering the ground below me but also making sure that Zero would not get affected by the shockwave. As I kept on moving higher and higher, almost reaching the stratosphere... I seized from going any further... And Just took a glimpse of the Sun.
"You have taken so much from me... So much that i couldn't bear it anymore, you made my life yours and kept me so disabled... But I pushed through, I lived Even though I had all the factors against me... But now you want to claim the happiness and joy of the people around me... Taking everything from them and only leaving despair... No... No I won't let you do that." I stared at the sun for sometime and closed my eyes, as a white and black glow appeared around me and the white layer on me started to glow brighter and brighter, so bright that from the ground I would resemble that of a star amongst the heaven. I then opened my eyes with a serious expression on my face. "YOU'RE MY BURDEN AND NO ONE ELSE... I'M GIVING IT ALL BACK... YOU'RE MY WAR TO FACE... YOU'RE MY BATTLE TO CONQUER... YOU..ARE..MY..DESPAIR..."

Please forgive me for not updating this earlier, alot have been on my plate and I needed to get them done with. But rest assured that I would continue the updating two times a week starting from the next arc.
