Adonis's consciousness slowly came back. He felt like he was being tightly held from both sides.
He adjusted to lie on his back.
He looked to his left, he saw a peacefully sleeping Magnus.
His heart started beating fast.
Magnus's features looked more handsome when he was sleeping.
Then he noticed a tiny moment on his right.
He turned around to see. What he saw melted his heart, making it warm and fuzzy.
Osiris was hugging him with his little hands. His baby was sleeping like an angel.
Adonis's heart felt content in that moment.
He caressed Osiris's hair.
He could finally call this baby his own. He was his son. He was Magnus's and his son. Their little angel.
He kissed his little angel on his forehead and caressed him.
Magnus was a very sensitive sleeper, he woke up as soon as Adonis turned to the other side.
He propped up using a hand and spoke in whisper,"What is it? Did he-"
Magnus forgot what he wanted to say when Adonis turned towards him with a beautiful smile on his face.
Their faces were just a inch away from each other.
Magnus had tasted those lips several times, he knew how sweet it tasted. So how could a person who had known sweetness and liked it, turn away from it?
Both of them gulped down.
Adonis heart beat like crazy. His face was just a inch away from Magnus's. He had kissed him several times in his dreams. For some reason he couldn't move his face away from him. His heart wanted to feel it for real?
Wait, why did it feel like Magnus was coming near and near.
Adonis breath grew heavy.
Magnus's perfect cupid bow lips, what would it feel like when those plump lips touched his, caressed on, licked and bit-
"Mommy."
Adonis pushed Magnus and quickly looked at Osiris with a smile on his face.
"Yes, baby."
"Mommy. You're back, really?"
"Mommy is back."
Osiris held Adonis with his small hands and asked,"Mommy won't leave Osiris again?"
Adonis took Osiris in his arms and said,"No baby. Mommy won't leave you now. And you can call Mommy 'Mommy' anywhere you like."
Adonis's eyes shone with happiness.
"Is Mommy getting married to Daddy?"
Adonis nodded.
"How did our little angel know?"
"Raven told me. If Mommy married Daddy then Osiris can call Mommy 'Mommy' anywhere he wants to and Mommy will live with Osiris always. Also Mommy will sleep here. You'll Mommy?"
Osiris eyes shined with hope.
Adonis kissed him and said,"Yes, baby. Mommy will stay with his baby everyday, feed you and sleep here."
Osiris hugged Adonis with his little hands.
He pulled back and said slowly,"Mommy."
"Yes, baby."
"What happened to Daddy?"
Adonis looked behind and was jolted when he saw Magnus lying on the floor. He was staring towards the ceiling.
"That scared me."
Both the Adonis and Osiris got down from the bed and went to help Magnus up from the ground.
"You seem to have immense hidden strength."
Adonis had already become as red as tomato.
"Duke, please. I'm already embarrassed. I apologize."
Magnus looked towards Osiris and said,"Osiris, go and inform Holt to call doctor. I have injured my back."
Osiris nodded and went with a determined expression.
Adonis helped Magnus lie on the bed with much efforts.
"Use that hidden strength of yours."
"Duke, please."
Adonis tucked him in well and said,"I'll check if Holt got the message or not."
He walked after saying that.
Magnus looked at the person from behind till he went out of the room.
He's gonna take his revenge. Eye for a eye, tooth for a tooth, back for a back.
Maybe paired with some tears and moans.
Magnus smriked.
Holt came with the doctor and Adonis. Osiris was sent to his room for his classes.
The doctor started checking Magnus's back.
"How can you be injured like that Duke? How did you even get it?", Holt asked.
Adonis spoke,"It's all my fault. Please don't blame him."
The doctor and Holt both looked at Adonis.
Poor Adonis thought he was taking responsibility of his actions.
He nodded.
Both people hurriedly looked at the Duke who too was staring at Adonis and looked away.
Magnus smirked, looking at his clueless little lamb.
The doctor cleared his throat and said,"Please refrain from the activities that strains your back."
He turned towards Adonis and said,"Madam, please take care."
"I will. Please rest assured, I won't let the same actions repeat again."
Holt and Doctor's ears grew red as they exited the room.
"Duke, please turn around. I'll apply the medicine on your back."
Magnus turned around. It wasn't as severe that Magnus couldn't move, he just laid on the floor with shock that his little lamb did that.
Adonis gulped down as he applied the medicine on the muscled back.
It was hard and big.
If a person was to fall under Magnus, they probably can't get up right?
His mind wandered to something else which was hot and hard in Magnus's body
He shook his head.
No no, just back, just back. He meant weight, nothing else.
But he was about to get married to the Duke. They will-
Adonis hit himself on his forehead.
"What's wrong?"
Magnus was about o turn around but Adonis stopped and made him sleep like before.
"It's nothing. Nothing at all. Rest, Duke rest. You should rest for a while to recover. You can't move your head here and there."
Red crept in Adonis's ears and cheeks.
He ran away from the room as soon as he finished applying medicine.
Magnus : ???
Later when Osiris finished all he classes, he dragged his Mommy all around the mansion.
That day, two laughter rang around Bloodworth Mansion till Osiris fell asleep in his Mommy's lap after being fed dinner by him.
Adonis went to his room after he tucked Osiris in his room.
Since autumn was approaching it was a bit chilly outside.
Adonis took a warm bath.
Holt was equally efficient as Rosie. He had placed all of Adonis's belongings in it's respective places and told Adonis.
He took out his silk nightwear and wore it.
The lamp which lit the room wasn't bright enough and the quiet atmosphere added to the errieness of the room.
Adonis looked around and went to his bed. He quickly pulled his legs up and sat in the bed hugging his legs. He gathered the blankets and got inside it.
Adonis still felt like someone was looking at him.
He shook his head and looked here and there, trying to make himself understand that it was just fear in his mind.
Adonis closed his eyes and tried to sleep but as soon as he closed his eyes the unpleasant sensation of being touched became fresh in his mind.
He abruptly sat up on his bed and looked around the room.
Magnus was looking at the paperworks which he had missed because he went to Adonis. He was donned in his nightwear which was just a silk trouser, when he heard a knock on the door.
He thought it was Holt who had come to collect the paperwork for some early work.
"Come in."
The door was slowly pushed open.
"The paperwork is done. Why are you so quiet to-"
When Magnus looked at the person at his door, he was shocked.
Was this little lamb provoking him?
Adonis was standing with a pillow wearing a white oversized silk nightwear which slightly showed his collorbone. The sight was quite alluring that Magnus forgot to speak.
Adonis looked at the shirtless man in daze. His fear from earlier was probably where Magnus's shirt was.
His tanned skin, and those muscles, he understood why was he the person with most rumors in the country.
How can a person who looks like this not be desired by many?
He's going to marry this person?
He should brace himself up because he's going to be envied by many.
Adonis shook his head, he's forgetting the purpose of coming here.
"D-Duke, can I sleep here?"
Magnus looked at him in awe.
This little lamb probably didn't know what consequences that could lead to, right?
"T-that I'm scared. I feel like someone is watching me. If, if you don't feel comfortable, I'll-"
Magnus walked to him and took the pillow in his hands.
He walked back and replaced it with the pillow which was already in his bed.
"It's already late. Please go to sleep."
Adonis nodded and obediently went to sleep on the bed.
Magnus smiled.
He went and sorted out some paperwork and he, too, went to sleep.
He slept on one side and Adonis slept on another side of the bed. Fear made Adonis a bit daring and he snuggled near Magnus.
Only when he was near the person, he felt at ease.
He felt safe.
Magnus smiled and turned around taking the slightly trembling person in his embrace.
"Duke, t-that I am scare-"
"You needn't explain everything."
Adonis nodded his head in his chest.
Both of their lips turned upwards.
Slowly the trembling disappeared as the two content people fell in deep slumber.
