Chapter 5 - Explanations (not a chapter, but must read)

In this chapter, I'll be explaining the perks, passives, grades and abilities.

PERKS: The perks are boons that can be earned via stats reaching a certain threshold, by fulfilling certain conditions, like the 'strong bones' which was gifted to the mc by withstanding a certain level of gravity in the new zone, or the mc fulfilling other prerequisites. Perks can also be upgraded by passives, like 'adaption' but such cases are rare, since adaption is a powerful passive in its own right. perks can upgrade perks as well given that both perks must have some sort synergy towards each other. Perks can be leveled up via the same prerequisite that allowed it to trigger, but said prerequisite must be done under FAR harsher but similar conditions.

PASSIVES: Passives, are you what you expect them to be, similar to perks too, but perks help to multiply or add on to what passives can do. Passives can also be earned via certain prerequisites being fulfilled too, but they are much easier to earn than perks, but tend to be weaker as a result of easier gain, depending on the passive. Passives can also be upgraded, there level up being determined with harsh conditions but less than what the perks demand.

ABILITIES: Abilities are like magic, Ki and other types of energy that exist. They are straight forward, and there cost depends on the users stamina or energy to be used. They can be gained or learned from imitating or acquiring basic knowledge on how to use said ability. They can only be upgraded via continuous use, and receive evolutions based on how high leveled they are.

GRADES: Are the letters that determine how good perks and passives are. Abilities will not have grades, since they don't require them as they will have a separate leveling function, with their strength being determined by their levels. But the mc doesn't know this yet. Grades go from; M, I, A, S and EX. with each representing MINOR, INTERMIDIATE, ADVANCED, SUPREME AND EXTREME respectively, with each grade giving more benefits than the previous grade.
