Being in the presence of a monster at night one can easily develop insomnia, in fear that at any moment, the monster beyond the door will reach to you and give you more nightmares. Just as the sun shines through the imaginary blinds of the window, Hope turns to face the innocent ocean blue eyes of the kid tucked in her arms.
"Good Morning, muffin", flicking his nose Hope spoke lowly not to startle the poor kid.
Getting no reply she continues, "My name is Hope muffin, what's yours?". Still getting no response she thought, maybe the kid need more time. Silently caressing his face she look deep in his eyes to convey the message that she means no harm.
After sometime she look toward the clock to saw it's 6 a.m. she quickly rose from the bed still not too quickly to set the boy on alert. Tucking him in, she turns to go but a small hand stop her in her track. She take the boy's hand in her hand and give it a squeeze assuring her that she's listening.
"I donna habe name", the boy replied in somewhat English.
"Oh", replying and searching his face a slow smile spread on her face after what feel like a long time ago. "it's Ok muffin. We'll give you one. Do you want me too?".. After some pondering a name pop in her mind which she thinks will be the best for the boy. Nodding his head, the boy keep his eyes on Hope with awe, curiosity and longing in his eyes.
"You know I forget how to smile from a very long time ago but after seeing your eyes today my heart felt happy. So if you like we can name you Joy. My Joy", with tears in her eyes she names the boy whole heartedly.
"Good Choice Hope", the voice whispers silently. Making Hope proud of her decision of naming him Joy.
Suddenly a blinding smile appears on Joy's face, taking Hope's some darkness.
"I wove it", Joy replied.
Hope chuckles slightly because of his word and leans to kiss his forehead, "No-one will hurt you My Joy".
