Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Reinhard Ferdinand

The story starts off in the bar of an isolated town, a territory of the Florian kingdom.

"Have ya heard about the kingdom's new laws?" Asked an old geezer.

"Oh lord, what have they done now?" asked the farmer, with a tensed expression.

"Erm, about half our earnings need to be given to the kingdom, as income tax, horrendous isn't it?" answered the old geezer.

"Bloody hell, we farmers can barely afford bread, i'm going to go homeless!" cried the farmer.

The door opens in full force, creating a loud banging sound.

"Calm down you fool, your dad isn't going to pay for that door!" shouted the angry bartender.

A rather tall, but lean figure entered the bar, with a dirty dark cloak and grey hair that covers a majority of his face.

"One glass of beer" requested the man.

"Don't ya think you're slick and that, banging on my door and ignoring my warning, you're one of those wizards aren't ya?" asked the bartender, in a rather rude tone.

"Do I look like a wizard to you? dumb old man" Replied the man.

the farmer and the old geezer burst into laughter.

"Oi, what's there to laugh about, don't make me kick ya out of here" warned the Bartender.

"With that old rugged cloak, and a rather dull suspicious face, you look like a wizard" Answered the Bartender.

The man didn't really answer back or pay any attention, he sensed a bunch of mountain bandits, about 4 meters away from the gate of the bar, this man is commonly known as the heavenly demon, and to the readers, he's the main protagonist, Reinhard Ferdinand.

The door burst open, with a group of mountain bandits, with blades and slingshots at hand.

"Stay right where ya are, take out your money and leave it on the table otherwise we'll kill you!" yelled one of the bandits, threatening the commoners.

Everyone was frightened, the farmer surrendered and kept the last bit of money he had left, on his table.

"Only 2 rufels?, that'll not even last an hour, I want meat and beer not just plain old bread" said a rather ugly looking bandit, with face marks and a long nose.

"Please, I gave all I have, please have mercy on me" requested the poor farmer, with a saddened tone.

"How about we kill him and sell his remains to the dark market eh commander?" suggested the ugly bandit.

The farmer had a frightened expression on his face, an expression of a man who might lose his life at any minute now.

"Good idea, we can make a fortune and live like a rich knight with that money, i'm sure the boss won't mind the dark market" replied the commander.

The farmer had no hope left, he wanted to run away but he was frozen scared, all he was thinking about was his sick son and his hungry wife, he knew that if he ran, he'd just get shot by one of the bandits and would be killed, he gave up and surrendered, thinking about the times he could talk and play with his son, the times he spent with his wife, while although he didn't earn much, he lived a happy life as a hard working husband and father.

"I'm sorry, charles and isabel, I will always watch and guard over you from the after life" the farmer whimpered.

he was sweating with his eyes wide open, tears streaming down his face, he could see the knife at full force, right infront of his eyes, about to cut and pierce through him.

The farmer expected to get pierced any second now but to his surprise, all the bandits were down on the ground, unconscious. Reinhard's left eye was wide open, a crimson red eye which almost made him look devilish, just his stare made the bandits collapse in fear.

Everyone was in surprise, just a few minutes ago their lives were in danger but suddenly the bandits are down on the ground unconscious.

"W...Was it you wizard?" Asked the bartender, while stuttering and with a fearful expression on his face.

Reinhard disappeared, almost like he never existed, he vanished in an instant.

"Told ya he was a wizard" said the bartender.

Reinhard was after the Arthurian treasure room which was captured by the Florians, which contains ancient tokens that can help him open a portal to a parallel realm which contains eternal solitude and bliss, a place where the strongest battle, not physically but mentally.

He was in a rather dark and deep forest, on a path to the heavenly mountains, the arthurian castle is located there, a castle in the heavens, guarded by celestial giants, his aim was to travel to the parallel realm named artoria, and gain the ancient power of altering infinite possibilities and futures by defeating the grand master of all dragons in a mind game, he knows that the power to alter the future would be beneficial for his goal.
