Gora:
Huff Huff
I tried to catch my breath as I stood in the middle of the clearing I had made for training. I went nonstop for half an hour, training the newly evolved beast. Still, our training wasn't over.
Ahhh!
AHH!
(Damn, I guess my break will have to wait.) I thought as I looked left and right. Come at me were two hulking men dressed in nothing but a loincloth. Both men were over six feet with biceps the size of my head. The two identical men and short black hair and black fur covering some of their bodies. They were the twins under Frons command. I believe their names are Rocky and Stone.
Frons had come up with the pair's names. Although not original, the names did fit the twins perfectly. The two were all brawn. I waited patiently as the two brutes came barreling toward me. Seconds before they reached me, I dove forward. Causing the twins to crash into each other.
"First, don't announce your attack by screaming. Second, work on your coronation. As twins, your teamwork is your biggest strength." I declared. Before I could say more, I felt danger coming from behind me. I side-stepped a spear aimed to impale me.
"Good form, Rain, but remember, a spear is best when used from a distance," I explained. Rain had long spiky black hair, and like the twins, he only wore a loincloth. I was glad the snow was starting to melt, but I figured the patches of fur were enough to keep the beast warm. Even in their human form. (I really wish I had more clothes.) I thought as Rain tried to retreat, but I held onto his spear, preventing him from moving. I pulled the wolf towards me and chopped him on the side of his neck, knocking him out.
I didn't have time to breathe because another opponent was fast approaching. I summoned my sword from my ring and parried a dagger aimed at my neck. The owner of the dagger was Sarah, the newly evolved tiger. The woman was slightly shorter than me with long orange hair. Lucky I had some extra clothes for the woman to wear. She had brown pants and long sleeve white shirt. Sarah's dagger flew out of her hands, and I delivered a swift kick to her stomach. The woman was sent flying.
"Your speed is your strength, but you need to better grip your weapon," I said while stabbing my sword in the dirt. All four of my trainees were unable to continue.
"Hmm, I thought they'd do better," Frons said. She and Canis had been watching this whole time. Both guardians walked closer to me as I caught my own breath. Fighting four-layer five beasts was tiring.
"They did better than I excepted but do you think they're ready?" Canis announced. The hound was right against a trained army. The four newly evolved demon beasts wouldn't stand a chance. Lucky for us, our opponents weren't that powerful. My new lieutenants could hold their own against a hundred dark Elvan.
"They will be fine. We only need to worry about the enemies' generals. That's where you two come in." I said as I turned to my companions. After integrating our elvan prisoner, I learned that there was only three general left in the elven army. I would have my guardians face the two weakest of the bunch while I took on the leader. If I had to guess, the Elvan leader was at least a layer seven. It was sure to be a tough fight, but I think I could handle it.
"Leave them to us, my Queen. We will not let you down." Frons said. I always felt lucky to have her by my side. I patted both guardians on the shoulders before looking at my trainees. They were all beginning to stand up slowly but surely. I couldn't believe they all chose to take human form. Most beasts born in the wild would rather be mythical creatures. I was told by Frons and Canis that they decided to become demon beasts out of respect for me. (Now I felt responsible for the little buggers.) I thought as I looked at the group slowly coming our way. They all kneeled before me, waiting for more instruction.
"You all did well today, but tomorrow will be the real deal. If anyone wants to turn back, I will not blame you." I said, pausing to see if anyone would choose to leave. Tomorrow would be the day we make our move. I wish I had more time to train my new beast commanders, but it had already been three weeks, and we were starting to run out of food. We needed to strike now. The beasts all looked at each other, but no one said anything.
"Good! Now go get some rest before we set out. Frons and Canis get everyone ready to move." After I was done speaking, then everyone went their separate ways.

Hours later, and my entire army had been moved, we were a few minutes away from the enemy camp. I was nervous at how close we were, but It was only for one night. With Shadow watching over us, I doubt we'd be spotted. Still, I was on edge.
"Master, I think it would be fitting for you to give the troops a speech! They all seem a little nervous tonight." Frons stated, closing one of the books I had given her. The woman had been sitting next to me with her head on my shoulder. Frons had undoubtedly gotten the idea from the book she'd been reading. The book was about a hero who saves a naive princess from a horrible tyrant. ( I should really find her better novels ready.) I thought, shaking my head. The stories that Mog left me all dealt with romance. Frons wasn't wrong. A good speech could rally an army. The only problem was I wasn't sure I could give one. I racked my mind trying to think of something good, but everything sounded selfish. Hell, the only reason we even climbed the mountain was because of me. I had to lead them into a war where we were hopelessly outnumbered.
"I don't think I have anything good to say." I scoffed. I wasn't cut out for giving speeches.
"You are their Queen. As long as you speak from the heart, I'm sure it'll be fine. I'll go gather the troops. Stay here." Frons said before kissing me on my cheek and running off. She ran so fast that I couldn't stop her. (I guess I got a come up with a speech.) It only took a few minutes for Frons to get everyone together. I stood looking out at the group of the beast. I took a deep breath and glanced at all the beasts staring back at me.
"Tomorrow, we take the fight to the enemy. It won't be easy, and not all of us will make it!" I paused. I could see some heads go down.
"But we can't run. The enemy will not stop at only taking this mountain. Soon they will make their way down and bring chaos to our kingdom." I shouted
"You've seen what they are capable of. Not a single beast remains on this mountain. What do you think they'll do when they come to our homes." I paused again.
"We will not let them have their way. We end it here and now. For our families, our friends, and most importantly, our kingdom! I yelled. My words were followed by loud shouts and growls. I could see the looks of determination form on all their faces. (Tomorrow we go to war!) I thought, looking out at my men. Although I had initially scaled this mountain for selfish reasons, I couldn't just stand by and allow the dark Elvan to run amuck. We needed to stop them before they grew even stronger.
