Step 7: Writing a story
Now it's time for the really good stuff. The moment you have all been waiting for! It's time for me to teach you about the three pillars of storytelling. NO, not worldbuilding, characters, and plot! The real pillars of storytelling are power fantasy, harem, and laziness (at least those are the thing that authors on this site use the most to write their stories). However, if we want to write a story we also need to use the other three as well but don't worry, those are the least important elements of every story. We will start by examining every one of the pillars one by one, starting with the most important one. LAZINESS.
You see, there is a common misconception among humans. It's believed that if you want to get something good in life you have to put work into it to get it. This, however, as many fanfiction writers will tell you, is complete bullshit. Everyone knows that life is super easy and that all actions we take should only be the most comfortable ones. We don't need to go to work or study to get money, we just have to win the lottery. We don't need to socialize with people to get married, we just need to wait in our room till our waifu comes and asks us to marry her.
Everything in life should be done without effort and writing is no exception. In many ways, writing could be compared to a game of soccer. The most exciting soccer matches for those who watch and play them are the ones where nobody gives a shit. The best matches are those where the players don't run as fast as they can but barely walk, where they lightly push the ball with their feet instead of kicking it as hard as they can and where nobody can be bothered to steal the ball or defend the goal. Like soccer, writing should be done in the easiest way where the author doesn't have to create, struggle, think, experiment, learn, train, and push himself beyond his limits to become a better writer than he was yesterday.
Instead of trying to create something new we writers should focus our energy on cheating and taking as many shortcuts as possible. You see we fanfic writers didn't start writing stories because we love writing or telling stories but to see our favorite waifus get ###### and living out our power fantasy. For us fanfic writers there is only one way to write a story and that is...
