When a stranger starts to live with you, one must be cautious. Especially those that wear a mask on their face.
The Zhou family went home, they were greeted by the butler and maids that were preparing for their return. Yu Xin went with her assistant maid, to get changed. After 10 minutes later, the family was seated in the dining room.
Yu Xin looked at the platter of food, which didn't seem interesting to her. Her new nanny was standing beside her as she didn't touch her food. "Xin'er is the food not to your liking?" asked Daddy Zhou. The brothers also put down their utensils. Yu Xin was wary about today's food, they rarely had western food and the nanny is staring at her quite a bit. She pushed her food away and said "I'm feeling full. Early when I was waiting for my brothers, I had cake and tea at the café".
The nanny then took away her food and threw it away. The father and brothers were quite shocked at the nanny's action. "How about some red wine to go with the steak?" asked the nanny. The Zhou family was silent and looked at the nanny that went to grab a glass of red wine for Daddy Zhou. "Thank you," said Daddy Zhou, trying to fix the atmosphere. Before Daddy Zhou could get a sip, Yu Xin grabbed a baguette and threw it at the glass of red wine which then fell and causing a mess.
"Zhou Yu Xin. Do not play with food. Sit down properly!" said Daddy Zhou. The brothers look at each other and pushed their plate of untouched food away. "Not you two as well." Said Daddy Zhou as he sighs. Zhou Yu Xuan then got up and said "This nanny wasted food first. She is teaching our youngest the wrong manner that's why Xin'er also threw food".
Zhou Yu Chen also added, "I think the food is not cooked by our chef, what if she poisoned our food?". Daddy Zhou looked at his sons and said, "You all may be dismissed for the day." All staff left including Gui Yi Yi. Daddy Zhou also pushed his food away, and went to Yu Xin and said "What do you want to eat? This father will cook for you."
Yu Xin's eyes widen and "Anything you cook will be great!". Yu Xin was surprised at Daddy Zhou's reaction, at most she go hungry for the night. Her brothers also got up to help their dad with the clean-up. Yu Xin got off her chair and helped out. When Daddy Zhou finished cooking, the family had a late dinner, but the atmosphere was more tranquil. After dinner, the family took a walk in the garden to digest the food they cooked together. Yu Xin saw a swing and ran towards it and sat on it.
Her brothers help her push, which sends her swinging causing her to smile and laugh. Daddy Zhou went back first and gave instruction to the head butler regarding Gui Yi Yi's actions earlier. The butler then called some maids to give some instructions, "Remember if Miss is in grave danger, save the miss regardless."
The brothers walked their little sister back to her room and greeted her goodnight. As night falls, everyone went to bed. Yu Xin rested in her bed with her eyes closed thinking about how she should go forward. Not long she heard her door opened, remaining quiet the intruder went closer to her.
The intruder touched her face then said, "Useless daughter of the Zhou Family, you better not provoke me. Once I get hold of Mr. Zhou, the first thing I would do is to make your life a living hell. You and that woman should have died as planned. Well, it's just a matter of time now." As she slaps Yu Xin's face.
Gui Yi Yi left shortly after checking whether Yu Xin woke up. Yu Xin who is currently withholding her anger wanted to kill that woman right at that moment. "How dare she touch me. And she wants to harm me. Try your best, little bug." Yu Xin got up and washed her face. Her face was still swollen, she runs cold water on her face to de swell it.
Yu Xin's eyes were dead cold, her mouth smirk widely, her personality took a 180 turn.
"Be my playmate would you, I wonder will you last longer than the last guy who tried to poison me. It's been a while since I had seen an entertaining show. Ahh… if only Kun Shao Ting was here now".
