Before continuing to the last two trials, Aldrin sat down to let his mind recover. Having been put in a false reality, he was still feeling the lingering sensation of living as a different person and fighting for a lost cause. The experience was profound, but he knew he couldn't let it distract him.
He had to recover his mental strength to effectively finish the remaining trials.
His clones didn't have the same problem as their thoughts simply mimicked his. While they could think independently, it was all in line with how he would act in reality. He had them sit down with him and clear their thoughts as they watched the fourth platform gradually descend.
Aldrin paid it no mind as he simply focused on recovery. Furthermore, he couldn't help but be curious about his rewards - specifically the Mana Pulse Armor Set and the Chronosteel Sword of Unity. It was something bound to him alone and even if he used it outside, no one could perceive it.
