Fei obviously did not expect killing the snake would increase his strength.
'I need to do more testing' Fei thought as he went deeper inside the jungle.
In Following couple of days Fei killed numerous small animals like snakes, rabbits, fishes etc. and he came to the conclusion that only those animals that are stronger than Fei can give him white light which increases strength. while animals which were weaker than Fei cannot give him white light. also The stronger the animal, the brighter the white light.
As the previous emperor of the druid kingdom he basically used up all the resources in his royal treasury to increase his strength. But for so many years he was stuck in his previous realm.
Fei felt excited…
By this time Fei made a resolution 'I need to kill stronger animals to increase my strength faster'
'Once I get enough strength and return back to my kingdom…. We don't need to fear Elves anymore….. And maybe our druid race can even contend against dragons.....'
Fei shook his head…
'I need to increase my strength as much as possible in this month'
After thinking that, Fei resolutely got up and started to find his new prey.
As time passed by, Fei got stronger and stronger…

At present, somewhere inside the forest, a wild boar was scratching his back against a tree. Suddenly branches of that tree started moving towards the wild boar.
Surprised, the wild boar backed away as more and more branches tried to capture the wild boar.
As the wild boar looked around he saw a middle aged druid chanting around 100 meters away…
That druid was obviously Fei. Enraged, the wild boar roared "Roar~" and started running in the direction of Fei..
Fei saw the wild boar running his way… his chanting got faster and faster… more and more tree branches and vines shot out in the direction of the wild boar.
But obviously due to the sheer physical power of that wild boar, they were unable to stop the wild boar.
Hundred meters….. Ninety meters…. Eighty….
Fei bit down on his lips and fresh blood came out of his mouth as he started chanting, earth beneath fei split apart and roots of nearby trees came out and shot towards the wild boar.
Fifty….. Fourty…. Thirty….
As more and more roots entangled with the wild boar and wild boar started slowing down.
Ten ….. Five… Two
The wild boar stopped a mere inch away from Fei
"Badoom….. Badoom…. "
Fei felt his heart beating wildly as cold sweat ran down his spine.
'That was really close….!' Fei thought as he got near the wild boar with a stone dagger in his hand. This stone dagger was created by Fei to kill wild animals more easily.
He tried slashing the stone knife around the wild boar's neck, but to his surprise the wild boar's hide was so thick that the knife was unable to cut through.
As Fei was thinking on what to do, he noticed that the hide was spread all over the wild boar's body except for his belly.
As the knife cut the wild boar's belly like butter… Fei's eyes brightened …
'Hmm…. this seems to be the weak spot…'
As he was absorbing the white light from the wild boar, suddenly from the corner of his eyes he saw a black figure coming out of the woods.
It was a black panther but way bigger than a normal black panther. This black panther had red fur on his forehead. Fei understood that this is not a normal beast, this is a magical beast.
Magical beasts are generally beasts which can use magical abilities. Like humans magical beasts are also able to cultivate and become stronger, but their path is a bit different, unlike humans magical beasts can eat rare herbs directly because of their strong digestive system impurities in these herbs and elixirs will automatically be removed. But for humans they cannot get rid of these impurities, that is the main reason they need to process those herbs into pills or pallets.
The beast in front of Fei was a Fire panther. As the name suggests, fire panthers can use Fire skills. Fire panthers can be counted as level 1 magic beasts. The lowest level magic beasts.
As soon as Fei saw the magical beast coming his way, Fei started running frantically towards the woods.
Fei was running as he used his plant manipulation to stall the fire panther.
But to his surprise the fire panther opened his mouth and shoot out flames from his mouth burning all the plants that were coming its way.
I might have crossed my boundaries today, Fei thought.
As he was running, the area in front of him cleared up…. There were no trees in this vicinity of the jungle.
'This is bad...'
Fei had an ominous feeling in his heart. As he looked back the fire panther was still following him.
As Fei was thinking on what to do, his sight suddenly locked onto a plant. This plant had white flowers and wide leaves.
The plant was White Snakeroot, a very poisonous plant which can kill an elephant with his poison.
'That's it…!' Fei thought as he came closer to the plant and tried to communicate with it.
And to his absolute joy, he was able to communicate with it. This gave Fei a much needed confidence.
'I need to figure out the pattern of the fire panther's flames.'
As Fei thought of this, he shot a few tree branches in the direction of the fire panther and changed directions immediately before fire panther's flame came his way.
After changing direction he shooting few more branches at the fire panther.
This pattern continued a few more times… and Fei understood the fire panther's weakness!
'The fire panther can only release his flame every 3 seconds!'
So I have only 3 seconds to kill..
As Fei came to this conclusion he once again shot branches at the fire panther.
As expected, fire panther shot out flames from his mouth and burned down the tree branches.
But something unexpected happened!
As soon as the fireball spell was disintegrated two more vines shot out in the direction of fire panther… and before fire panther could get out of the way, those vines stabbed deep into the panthers eyes…!
"Growl …..!"
The fire panther roared painfully and started rolling onto the ground. Fei watched as the fire panther's face became purple with poison.
But for assurance Fei sent a few more poisonous vines in fire panther's way.
After 2 hours of suffering, the fire panther finally stopped breathing.
A bright light suddenly came from the fire panther's body and shot towards Fei. This was the brightest white light Fei has ever seen coming from any creature.
After absorbing the white light, Fei noticed that there was also blue light coming near the panther's corpse.
After reaching out Fei discovered that the blue light was coming from a book.
This book had ancient characters inscribed onto it. To Fei's surprise the cover page on book, it was written
'Skill : Fireball'
Fei's hands trembled..! He was excited.
As soon as Fei opened the first page of the book, blue light burst out from the book and shot in between Fei's eyebrows.
The ancient book disintegrated. But Fei didn't notice it as his eyes were unfocused.
Fei's mind was filled with information about this new fireball skill!
After a while, Fei came to reality…
As soon as he came back to reality he jumped up and started dancing!
