Maezhei felt a chill behind her so, she unconsciously raised her head and her gaze went towards the second floor where she saw Zake with his casual home clothes and his hair was disheveled, most likely from having just waking up.
Zake's usual appearance was already very mesmerizing, but the gap between his current disheveled look and his usual image was so large that the impact was even more powerful. He was so sexy, there was no cure for it.
Maezhei felt dazed for a moment before coming back to reality.
"Mr. Deguzs, what are you doing here?" she asked.
"Miss Dayone, this is my house so of course, I am here."
Maezhei, what the heck? You're so stupid asking that questions! - she scolded herself.
"What I mean is... you didn't go to work today?" she said embarrassment is evident on her face.
Zake nodded his head, "Mhm. I'm resting today."
Maezhei thought for a moment when realization hit her. So, the Big Boss was also the kind to sleep in... and having a rest day is normal. I thought he is a workaholic person and just think of work...
"Steward Kim," Zake called.
"Young Master," the steward bowed his head respectfully.
Zake took a deep breath, rubbed his forehead then he glanced at Little White. He said, "Bring Little White to Zifan's Villa."
The Steward didn't get what he said at first but after sensing his cold gaze he immediately answered, "Yes."
He got jealous of even Great White!
After the Steward and the white tiger left, Zake looked at Maezhei, "What do you want to eat this afternoon?" he asked.
It seemed that it's not just her living expenses, her food expenses were also covered by him. Just when Maezhei was about to reply, her phone suddenly rang.
Why is Kath calling?
"Sorry, I'll just take this call," she uttered before excusing herself.
Zake nodded.
"Hello, Kath? Why are you calling? Is there a problem?"
"BEST FRIEEEND!!" Kath shouted on the other line.
Maezhei immediately distance her phone when she heard her friend's scream on the other line. Gosh, she thinks her eardrums was broken.
"Kath, what the heck? Why are you shouting?"
"I'm sorry, I just missed you," Kath said.
Maezhei entered to her room before she replied, "I was just away for one day but you act as if we didn't saw each other for a year!"
Kath laugh on the other line.
"Hahaha. I'm so sorry, I am just excited for tonight's Opening Ceremony."
"Opening Ceremony?" Maezhei asked.
"Yes. It's the Opening Ceremony of your newest drama! Wait, don't tell me you didn't know?"
"I... didn't," she muttered.
Maezhei was shocked. Kath words are not yet sinking.
"What?! No one informed you? But the Opening Ceremony is this afternoon!"
"This afternoon!!" she exclaimed.
What the heck? It's 11:35am!
That means she has only less than two hours!
"Sh*t... Why didn't they inform you?" Kath on the other line.
Maezhei suddenly remembered when he met Dylan...

"Kath, I need to hang up now. I'll just call you later."
Hah. She's still the same. Using her old same tactics.
"It's that fake b*tch sister of yours, right?" Kath asked.
"Who else?"

They don't have enough time what's more if she wait for Kath? Then the Opening Ceremony would have ended!
"No. It's okay. I'll handle this," she said.

After Maezhei ended the call, she quickly went downstairs and frustratedly grabbed her script and immediately went to her room.
She groaned, "F*ck. Damn it!"
Maezhei can't help but to curse.
'If Silica thinks that she can kick me out with her little tricks then she should think again. I am not the weak Maezhei Dayone five years ago!'
"What happened?"
Maezhei was still thinking of a way on how to go in the Opening Ceremony on time when she suddenly heard a man's baritone voice behind.
Maezhei stilled. Damn! She had been too impulsive, forgetting that she was in the Deguzs residence...
She wiped her face, hating herself and wanting to dig a hole to hide in.
*cough, cough, cough*
"Uhm..." she doesn't know how to answer him. She does not want to disturb him anymore but she left with no choice...
"What is it?" Zake asked seriously.
Seeing his serious expression, Maezhei gritted her teeth, "The opening ceremony for 'Ultimate Love' starts today. The movie where I was stared at. It's already 11 o'clock and no one told me about it. If it hadn't for Kath who called me just now, I wouldn't even know about it. And... it takes at least fifty minutes to get to Kingstown Hotel from here. Am I supposed to appear on camera bare-faced?"
"Why not? You're pretty enough as it is."

Someone actually dare to bully her Wife...
"Wait a moment." Zake raised his hand to let her know not to worry, and then carried his cellphone to the courtyard to make a call. But Maezhei didn't understand his signal and thought that he's busy and he needs to take some call in the office.
Because of desperation, Maezhei thought of asking for help to Zake but she have no courage to do so especially now that he seems busy with something.
What should she do then?
