TORUM:
Did I hear correctly?
"Sorry? Rob a count?"
"You heard right," Zaid confirmed, "but not just one. Various."
"I've heard enough," I declared, turning to leave, but Johan stepped in my way.
"Why don't you listen to what we have to tell you?" John asked.
"Because I've heard enough. This business of robbing counts... that's crazy. I will not do it."
I flanked Johan to leave, but Zaid spoke to me.
"I know you're going through some tough times," he said.
I stood paralyzed, then I turned my back.
"I know you are hungry," he continued, "every day. You don't have a job and if you come home tonight, you won't have any to give to your wife."
"And?" I looked at Zaid, "Many people are hungry in the South. It looks like the end of the world out there."
"Yes. And do you know who lives in luxury when their people suffer? The royalty. The Dukes and Counts. That's not fair, is it? You think it is fair?"
