My circle of trust and I met in the common room. The letter we received from the capital changed everything. Nobody expected that invitation, certainly, I was one of those who least imagined that Queen Antonete wanted me in the royal palace.
The people I trusted were few: Delilah, Yada, Kenechu, Dan, Yessenia, and the spirit of Queen Catherine.
I needed their advice.
"We have received a letter of invitation from Queen Antonete," I spoke, "this is an event that no one expected. Certainly not me. The question is: what to do now?"
Everyone looked at each other's faces, the first to speak was Delilah.
"Do not go."
"Why not?" Yessenia asked, "This is our chance."
"Chance for what? It sure is a trap," Delilah asserted.
