Lady Vulka, daughter of Katsper Huescar, swung her sword at her practice partner. She was tall, with broad shoulders, small breasts, a square head, and short hair, very short, like a boy's. At first glance, she looked like a man, not a lady.
"I already understand why you don't want to marry her," I said jokingly.
"No, it's not about that," Adil answered.
He and I were watching her from the top of the wall that covered Graystone. We had been there for a long time, but she still hadn't realized that we were watching her carefully.
She swung her sword again and her young companion blocked the attacks.
"She knows how to fight, I'll give her that," I said, "if you find it difficult to get her into bed, you can always close your eyes and imagine that she is someone else."
"Please, Marco, enough already."
