I saw the Marlaga Islands rising on the horizon. We took a ship in Porto Razza and it only took us a couple of days to reach the home of the Huescar house and the most capable and famous sailors that Alba Terra has ever known.
Those islands, to the west of the mainland kingdom, were discovered by the legendary Ramin Huescar. It is said that he traveled the nine seas and met nations and empires that no longer exist.
Many even argue that the Huescar were the first to arrive on Alba Terra from Snapdragon. What is known is that Ramin was the one who commanded the fleet that killed Amaru, the sacred sea beast that cursed the islands, a sea serpent with horns and fur in its head.
There are records from the time of witnesses who claim to have seen Ramin Huescar kill Amaru, sticking a spear into the fury skull of said beast.
