It was the D- day, the day of the admission ceremony into the super Academy. The academy that every young powered teenager dreamt of getting into. The academy for the gifted or the powered as they were all called.
A century ago, a strange glowing rain fell upon the whole world at the same time. Strange was the fact that the rain was able to pass through even solid objects and touch people in their homes. Stranger that nothing got wet from the rain. Living things that is insects, animals, plants and humans felt the rain and saw it falling. Funny enough, the rain lasted a week. After that only,would people realize that the harmless looking rain was actually signifying the beginning of a new era.
Immediately after the rain, there was a bright glow in the sky, and all of a sudden, everyone began to receive a sort of insight on powers and abilities they got without knowing. Not only that, some animals and plants began to turn into barbaric, monstrous looking creatures that devoured and fed on the lives of other creatures.
Of course that action resulted in a fight for survival between the humans and the monsters with the humans coming out on top albeit with some casualties in their ranks. Because of that the remaining humans bonded stronger together to be able to combat any evil that came their way in the future.
After the epic battle, the survivors rebuilt and regrew all that needed to be done for the next generation creating schools, rebuilding cities, and trying to improve their technology just in case something more dangerous happened in the future.
As time went on, the population grew, stronger powered began to emerge, and humanity began to gain ground in the world once more. Sadly greed was one thing humanity wasn't able to overcome as the new generation, began to emerge, some looked out for their selves not really caring for the masses but putting up a front of care and affection. That was one thing humanity could never get rid of.

The super academy was one of the best leading academies in the world. It had trained countless famous heroes known all around the world from the super powered heroes to even those who later joined the dark side. But at the end the super academy was known for one thing amongst it's peers, and that was the ability of always raising exceptional powered.

Mark was a 16 year old orphan who had lived in the government run orphanage since he was one. People of this generation were all born with their powers, only that the powers would be dormant till the age of awakening which was sixteen. Not withstanding, there had been what were called early awakeners. Those who awakened earlier than the normal powered.
