When that notification rang, I didn't feel any different physically, but mentally I felt like I was free. Maybe it was only in my head, but knowing that from then on I was only following the path I had decided to take, was enough to cover everything. I knew who I was, I was free, and in spite of everything that awaited me, I felt at peace, as if a huge weight had disappeared from my soul.
