I thought Dad don't like Ron but they are always together and he is trusting him with so many works. Even the deals that has to be faced by the seniors. It is as if he is preparing him to take over. But well if he is going to be my husband he will indeed in that position. But I think it's too early for that. Sometimes Dad can be too much.
"Don't you think it's too much work for Ron Dad? You're taking the time that is supposed to be mine. Please don't make Ron too busy at work." I open this topic while on dinner table with my parents. We decided to eat outside unlike our regular dinner at home with Mom.
"Your daughter is right, give them time to enjoy the early stage of their relationship. I know you are excited to have a son but slow down. I don't want you to spoil theìr budding relationship. You will get your apprentice real soon." Mom backed me up.
"There is some work at the office where I can only entrust to Ron. You two ladies won't understand that.
I'm happy that the 2 important men in my life are getting along well.
"Ok that's enough as much as possible let's not talk about business when we are on the table. This is the only time we have to catch up. You we're out of the house the whole day. So tell me what happened other than work?" Mom asked.
"Then we can't tell you any stories." Dad answered!
"Mom we are planning to go on vacation." I answered. "Maybe you can come?
" That's a good idea. Where do you plan to go?" Mom inquired.
"We haven't decided yet. But i want somewhere with a nice beach."
"Maybe Palawan, it's a nice place. I'm dying to go back there this year I just don't have the time." Ron answered.
"Palawan is good, I'd been there with my cousins but it would be different experience if i go with you this time." I responded.
"It will be sure different with you and me together." Ron took my hand and give it a slight kiss.
My parents seem to like Ron. It just make sense since i never been in relationship, they waited for this to happen as well. Im so thankful for their support.
"You two better go without us. We are too old for that kind of things." Mom commented.
"Ow Mom you are not too old." I told Mom that made her smile.
"That's right Tita You are still so beautiful. You can be mistaken as Andrea's sister." Ron said. Mom is overwhelmed of joy with that vomment she giggles with disbelief.
"That's too much but I will accet it." We all laugh at Moms proud answer.
