Rias:''Nothing, in the truth I have blessed, but it is a useless one, I received the blessing of the God of food, a minor god that is only known for his gluttony.''
Alex:'' What does the blessing do?''

Alex:''... and you call that useless? I am sure their blessing is way worse than yours, this ability basically makes you the perfect jack of all trades, based on the situation you just need to eat something and overcome your opponent.''
Rias:''Thank you are the first one to say something like this.''
Alex:'' Regarding the stats part, how do they differ?''
Rias:'' Every being has innate stats, that can be trained and upgraded by skills, the basic stats, are strength, agility, dexterity, endurance, intelligence, and Magic, then there are the less important one, these ones aren't actually innate, you unlock them by unlocking certain skills, for example, the speed stats when you unlock the running skill, or the defense stats when you learn how to use a shield or an armor, the possibility are infinite, the lest know stats luck, there very few skills that increase luck, and they can be used only in those certain situations.'
After few minutes Alex finished eating, while Rias still had another plate, apparently, she also got the God of food gluttony.
Alex went back to his room, on the side of the corridors there were lights similar to the one on the main road, if you looked at them, on the inside, there is no candle, instead, there is what looks like a stone constantly emitting light.
When he got in his room he got the magic-related book, named "magic for babies", and began to read, ignoring the insulting name.
The book is divided into three sections, the first section describes how to unlock and manipulate mana, the second one how to learn the lifestyle magic skill, and the third one how to unlock the communication magic skill.
Alex:'So the basic, to unlock mana you have to meditate and feel your mana core, when you feel it you have to command and move to your own bidding.'
He leaves the book on his bed, gets on the ground, and just like every basic MC in a cultivation novel does, he takes a lotus position.
He closes his eyes and tries to clear his mind.
In the beginning, the task was hard, no trained human can easily clear his mind on the first try, it took him 20 minutes to clear his mind and stabilize his breathing.
Even with his closed, Alex could see, not around him, instead what he saw is a red ball, resembling a tiny star, strange energy is going around it.
He nears the red ball, but it doesn't matter how much he walked, the ball still stayed the same distance from him.
He raises his trying to touch the ball, and the energy around it suddenly begins to move towards his hand, coating it in red energy.
After few seconds he can manipulate this energy to his own will when he accomplished this task his surroundings completely change and he was back in his room.
Alex:' Was that my mana core? Why was it red, shouldn't it be blue like how usually mana is?'
He goes back to the book and reads the rest of it, at the end of the first section it described how every being starts with a red mana core, apart from some more magic attuned races, and to upgrade the core you need to meditate and raise your MAG stat when it reaches a certain threshold the core will evolve, the color goes from red to orange, to yellow, to green, to cyan, to blue, to purple.
Alex opens his status, and his personal description changed.

Alex:'The number near my ore means that my current magic stat is 6, and I need to get to one hundred to upgrade my core, since my mana manipulation gets trained whenever I use magic, I can train it by also studying Lifestyle magic and communication magic.'
He opens the book again and reads the second section of the book, the Lifestyle magic section.
It is pretty easy to unlock, the reason behind this is because it is the weakest type of magic, the most damaging thing you can do while using it is create a small fire, only powerful enough to turn on a bonfire.
To unlock it, you just need to will the mana to change in its elemental form, when you are able to conjure all the basic four elements in your hand, you will unlock the skill.
Alex:'Easy if your mana manipulation isn't at level one, guess I will have to train a lot before being able to use it.'
The night has already fallen, and since he doesn't want to spend the rest of the night awake he decides to sleep, and get ready for his first lesson tomorrow.
He gets under the thin sheets of the bed, and in less than 1 minute he is already sleeping.

Alex hearing his words speeds out of the room to get to the bathrooms, near the bath area, there also are several singular rooms, with what looks like a toilet, a sink, and some shelves with several brushes with each people name on them, one of the brush also has Alex name.
Alex:'Did they knew I was going to this bathroom, or is a brush in all the bathrooms?'
Alex checked, and there is a brush for each room.
He then firstly washes his face, and then takes the brush, at the bottom of it there is a bottom, he presses it and the brush teeth, from white turned to blue, as if they were covered in toothpaste.
Alex:'I love magic.' he thinks while washing his teeth.
After 30 minutes, he took a poop and used the magical version of a Japanese toilet to clean himself and the toilet, a traumatic experience, he was finally ready to get his breakfast.
He says good morning to Aubrey and sits with Rias, and from the plate near her, she must be at her 3rd portion.
Alex says hi to her, and begins to eat his breakfast.
It is composed of a piece of bread, with some milk and an apple.
The bread has just been taken out of the oven and the milk is as fresh as new, the apple is a normal apple.
He finished his breakfast the same moment Rias finished her 3rd portion, when they finished they looked at the clock inside the eating area, and the time is 7:50.

Rias:'' Yep, follow me.''
They arrived just a minute before the begging of the lesson, the room resembled the photo of how old schools looked, with wooden singular desks, wooden chairs, a blackboard in front of the desks, and a teacher about to reprimand Alex and Rias.
Teacher:'' About in time, I know Rias takes a lot of time to eat because of her blessing but what excuses do you, new Traveler?''
Alex:''... I got lost?''
Teacher:''... Just take your seat.''
When everyone sat down the teacher began to write on the blackboard, the ord he wrote is one of the basic ones, so Alex recognized it, it means Birth.
Teacher:'' Since there is a new arrival today I will explain the birth of our world as we know it, does someone know the answer?''
One of the girls in the back raised her, and the Teacher indicated her, letting her speak.
Girl:'' Our world looks like this because of two reasons due to the war that happens eons ago between the Major deities, and because of the existence of the Travelers.''
Teacher:'' Exactly, as she said, the first thing that shaped our world like this, was the fight that happens eons ago between the major deities, now you must not confuse out Gods with the Major deities, the gods are humans that have achieved that power thanks to their own training, deities instead are beings that exist beyond time and space, they were always present and will always be, until today no one as ever entered in contact with such beings, and we know their existence only thanks to the Gods, and the second reason because our world look like this is thanks to the Travelers, as some of you might know, not all Travelers get here without memories, some of them actually remember their previous world and their technology, with the help of magic they were able to replicate such technologies making them even stronger, one of the most famous Travelers that helped us in the discovery of Gravity magic was Isaac Newton., or Rober Oppheinmer who made us discover the existence of atoms, and made us able to evolve our understanding of magic to new levels.''
When Alex heard those names, his mind blew up, if those beings existed what other humans could have arrived in this world.
Alex raises his hand, and the teacher lets him speak.
Alex:'' Is there a book where there are elongated all the major deities and all the travelers that were important in the history?''
Teacher:'' For the first question the answer is no if we were to try to understand the name of major deities our brain would explode and our magic disappear, instead of for the Travelers part, yes there is a book, you can buy it at the shop near the kitchen, the name of the book is "Legendary travelers and what to know about them" it ahs elevated all the most famous and notorious travelers.''
For the rest of the hour, the teacher explains to everyone the different Gods that exist and how apart from our Gods there also are Gods from other races.
Alex:' I should ask how many races exist in this world.'
But before he could ask the question another bell ringed indicating the ned of the lesson.
Teacher:'' For the rest of the day, until 14:00(2:00 p.m.) you are free to train in whatever you want, after that everyone will have to get their daily job, the lunch will be served at 13:00(1:00 p.m.).'' He says while indicating for everyone to get out.
While getting out Alex checked his system and his Basic Studying skill raised to level 11, and his Basic Common Language got to level 17.
When everyone is out, everyone scatters, and Rias disappears, leaving Alex alone.
Alex:'...What the hell am I supposed to do?'
