When Hion showed me to a private room that had a table and four chairs, I thought that I made progress, but then Hion demanded to see the merchandise I had brought for auction before he called his supervisor.
He even asked Vesper to wait outside, which was not a deal breaker. Actually, I was glad that Vesper won't see what I brought for auctioning, but I was still vexed that Hion showed such a change in attitude.
Was everyone set to treat me like an ignorant kid?
Was it because of my age? My gender? Or because I'm pretty?
I mean… there must be some reason why everyone was either looking at me like lowly specie or like they wanted to take me to bed.
After tonight, I understood why my father changed his appearance to look like a mature man, but that didn't make my situation less mentally exhausting.
