Chapter 17: Birthday party
Here in party hall which is beautifully decorated with colorful flowers and everyone is ready for the celebrate 70th birthday of Dixit grandpa`s (Ajay) birthday. Because he is planning for a special announcement regarding the company shares which belonged to him and also he has plans for his retirement. All the other greedy members of Dixit family are eagerly waiting for this day.
Ramesh and his wife Seema were welcoming the guests at the entrance. Suresh was entertaining business associates, he started to assist his grandpa so he can gain his trust so he can receive all the shares and can take over the company when the time is right.
Suresh is perfectly trained under his father for how be a chameleon, who knows how to hide their real motivations. He knew what to do and how to modify someone for his gain.
Maya was dressed in clothes which barely covered her with heavy makeup on her face was gossiping with ladies. She was acting like a queen bee surrounded by her minions who were praising for her everything she does.
Maya has become a model and recently stared in couple of movies as second lead. She has dressed to again attention of the men around her.
Maya has lot gossip about her in the modelling and entertainment industry, about her seducing organizers and directors to achieve her name and fame. But no one dared to speak out loud because of her family background.
Pradeep was accompanying grandpa Dixit who was in the room which they had booked for his resting. Pradeep is only the decent child of Ramesh who is just like his mom innocent and doesn't have greed. He is a painter from young age he always liked to draw and paint, Arthi helped him and made him to join painting and drawing classes.
When he grew up he pursued his dream and became famous painter and owns an art studio. His dad, mom and his siblings were against it, even grandpa didn't support him initially but later somehow grandpa Rai made grandpa Dixit understand for which he agreed to it reluctantly since was the only one who supported his dreams to become an artist.
Almost every important guests had arrived, even every Rai family members has arrived to party expect Atharv. Dixit grandpa came down and greeted everyone, now it`s time for cake cutting.
Ramesh and Seema were standing next to Ajay who was with Pradeep, Suresh and Maya pushed in the trolley which had a huge five layer cake. Everyone was clapping and singing happy birthday song. Ajay was ready to blow the candle the brightly lit party hall went dark.
Everyone was whispering suddenly they heard a soft and melodious voice of singing happy birthday entered the hall carrying a cake which was filled with candles came and stood in front of Ajay.
