Chapter 5: Betrayed and hurt.

It was initially very hard for me to move on with my life due to sudden disappearance of my Angel Arthi. I don't know what happened and why she just vanished from my life all of a sudden.
I had found about something very important about her dad accidently and wanted to share with her. Even got close to her disgusting cousin and her dad and found proofs too. But my bakey my angel was nowhere to be found. I tried to find out about her where about through my grandpa, her grandpa but still couldn't find.
I even went to her mom to know about her and begged to tell about her. But no one told me anything. I used ask about her to know if there was any news but eventually gave up since I didn't get any news from her. She used to bake me cookies, cupcakes and cakes, so I call her bakey. But she was my angel my love. I never told anyone about her. I missed everything about her love, care, and her baked foods.
My mom knew I was in love with someone who was very special to me because she had found my wooden box of treasure in which I`ve kept all the things of my angel. On top of the wooden box I had it engraved "My Love" and "My Angel".
She tried to ask me about it but for some reasons I couldn't tell her anything. Because I never confessed my feelings for her. I wanted to tell my bakey about my feelings after the exams but she just vanished. So I felt there was no use to tell about my angel to anyone it was my secret.
After that I joined college where I met Priya and Rajesh. We just clicked together hung out each other and became very good friends.
We used stick like glued to each other almost all the time. By the way my name is Atharv Rai. Even though we three were very close to each other and shared everything I never told them about my Angel.
I even tried to investigate about her on my own with an private investigator but I never got any result.
As time passed I started to like the companionship of Priya which had mentioned to Rajesh once. He convinced me that I was in love with her. Even I thought it might be true so after graduation I confessed my love to Priya, but she asked some time to think about it.
Since I got selected at New York University for my post-graduation I had to leave to USA soon. But I still respected her decision at left for New York after a week. Rajesh started post-graduation course in correspondence and used work as an intern in our company.
Whereas Priya joined in for full time course. We three used to chat online and talk over phone whenever we got time. After couple months Priya also confessed her love towards me.
After 2 years I completed my post-graduation and came back to take over the company. Me Rajesh and Priya we used to work in our company.
After almost 2 years dad taught me everything he knew since he was planning for retirement. Seeing the hard work and dedication of Rajesh and Priya dad even promoted them to senior level position. He handed over the company completely to me and got retired.
It took some time to get adopted to our new positions and we 3 used to be busy with company work. After sometime I proposed Priya for marriage which she agreed. We told our parents they also agreed and we got engaged. So we planned to get married after a year. I don't know why but my grandpa never liked Priya and Rajesh. He always used warned to be careful around them.
I and Priya never got intimated with each other even after our engaged. But after 6 months after our engagement I was planning surprise date with Priya since we were facing some problems with company and due to over busy schedule we couldn't spend more time together.
I talked to my parents to find an auspicious date for our marriage very soon. Since there was only good date for marriage was available next month if not there was no good date available for almost a year.
I selected wedding card design and took a sample card to show her with flowers and her favorite chocolates. But who would have thought I would get the biggest surprise of my life.
As soon as I went inside her apartment which I given her to stay. I saw Priya and Rajesh in intimate positions while cursing me. I got froze by hearing my best friend and fiancé talk about me like I felt betrayed and hurt. Never thought trusting friends blindly would have cost me so much.
