Chapter 75 - Chapter Seventy Five: Separation

She stood in the middle of nearly one third of the beast-kin forces, taking a deep breath and trying to concentrate as much as she could. When they were fighting Chanell and her forces, her magic seemed to react on its own and fill her mind with its mana and intent. It didn't posses her, as she was still in control of her body, but it influenced the way she thought and acted, as well as making her reflexes faster and giving her access to an unlimited amount of mana. Even after five years of practicing and experimenting with it, she still did not fully understand this change in state, or where all the mana came from. What she could do now was tap into that power at will, as long as she had time to focus and block out everything else.
