Arc two: five years later
A cold breeze blew through the open window, hitting Elaine and waking her up. She opened her eyes, feeling well rested as she pushed herself into a sitting position, the blanket falling off of her chest and causing goosebumps to appear all over her body as her bare breasts were exposed to the breeze. She shivered, focusing and closing the shutter on the window with her magic, the wood glowing golden before creaking close, the room already feeling warmer. She frowned, knowing that something as simple as the breeze didn't wake her up alone, and she looked over to her right, seeing Jack was already awake and preparing a meal for her. The house they lived in was small and plain, with a table, bed, and a fire pit for cooking.
