"We have to hold out for over two months for the kingdom to gather their forces and march them down here." Sir Gilbert said, placing one hand on the table in front of him while he pointed to the border of the empire with the other, where the vampires had begun their attack. "If we can hold out that long and keep their attention, then the kingdom's forces will be able to hit them from the side, turning this into a war on two fronts for them and greatly putting them at a disadvantage. Our forces are about the same in number...but these 'abilities' you told us about are hitting us hard and driving us back."
