Chereads / Global Castle Age: My Farmers are Level 100 / Chapter 11 - Enemies Who Will Raise a Flag

Chapter 11 - Enemies Who Will Raise a Flag

The most important thing now was to obtain more resources from the Beast Tide.

After the lime was refined, Xu Hang needed bricks.

In order to obtain bricks, a large amount of clay was required.

The first thing to do was break up the clay blocks and place the clay powder in an earth bin for three days.

Then, the clay needed to be mixed evenly. Any small bubbles that appeared must be eliminated.

This was the preliminary preparatory work, but Xu Hang could not wait for three days. He let the clay form naturally.

His farmers had immense strength. They could even be compared to machines.

The farmers had risen to levels 14 and 15. Xu Hang called them over and gave his orders. With that, a huge brick-making project was launched.

In a blink of an eye, it was already evening.

"Everyone, work overtime today. The reward will be barbecue meat!"

"Yes, Master!" replied the farmers in unison.

Soon, the first batch of clay was done.

The next step was to soften the clay and put it into a mold. That way, it would be made into a long brick. Then, the brick could be cut according to the desired size.

"Start the kiln!"

Xu Hang instructed the farmers to place the bricks in the kiln to dry them and evaporate any moisture contained within. After that, the bricks would be heated at a high temperature. Once cooled down, they would be ready for usage.

[ System Announcement: Congratulations to Lord Xu Hang for unlocking the clay brick recipe. You have received 30 iron ore as a reward. ]

[ This person was probably a construction site worker! ]

[ Maybe he wants to start a real estate business? Hahahaha. ]

Xu Hang was already used to being ridiculed.

However, since he was exposed to the public, there might be some people who were secretly plotting against him.

There would always be hidden predators.

Despite that, there was nothing that Xu Hang could really do about it. He just needed to take things one step at a time.

Xu Hang continued to work on developing his territory. The farmers tirelessly made bricks and lime, as well as cultivated the area.

Meanwhile, a group of people had passed by a north mountain less than a mile away from Xu Hang.

Before Yang Mingyue transmigrated, he was a huge fan of military novels, especially those set in ancient times.

His idol was Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire.

This new world that he had arrived in had no technology, no established politics, and no plutocracy.

It was the perfect place and time for him to show off his skills.

So, he began his own journey of conquest.

After producing a number of soldiers, he began to fight whenever he had the opportunity.

However, he did not fight because he wanted to kill people. He just wanted to gather resources, recruit talents, and become a hero like Genghis Khan.

He did not have too much experience and the soldiers he produced were very average. However, he knew how to arrange troops and come up with formations. His military skills were superb.

In fact, he even fought a Lord who was ranked 42nd on the leaderboard. He used Tian Ji's horse racing technique. Basically, a group of level 1 soldiers would distract the enemies while he led the main force to launch a surprise attack. He took down the opponent in an instant.

The Lord of the castle was not an ignorant person. He understood that he had lost and readily submitted to Yang Mingyue.

"Brother Yang, there's a castle over there."

"Oh, let me see who's the owner."

After Yang Mingyue finished speaking, he accessed the system leaderboard.

[ Xu Hang's Castle. Level 3. Battle Strength: 4]

"Isn't he the guy who ranked last in the leaderboards and was ridiculed by others in the world chat channel for a period of time?"

"Brother Yang, this trash is not worth our time. F*ck him!"

Upon hearing that, Yang Mingyue retorted, "Haven't you learned your lesson? When I beat you, I was also lower in terms of ranks. Combat strength isn't everything! How many times do I have to remind you?"

"But how can an ordinary person be compared to you, brother Yang?"

"Rankings should only be used as a reference! You must remember this. Moreover, this person has unlocked two recipes before."

"Troops, lower your bodies and advance at a uniform speed. Be careful. There might be beasts and traps ahead!"

As they slowly approached, they could gradually see the entirety of Xu Hang's castle.

It was nothing out of the ordinary!

Although, the catapults were quite impressive.

"Catapults. They take a while to start up but their lethality and range are great. By taking advantage of the cooldown time, we can easily destroy them."

"Furthermore, I will command my soldiers to attack in a guerrilla-style. The surprise attack should be able to neutralize them."

"Have the spies returned?"

A figure jumped over.

"Reporting. No beasts have been found in the vicinity. Also, earlier, I was discovered by a farmer."

"Farmer? No worries. From the looks of it, the news of the Beast Tide's spawn point being somewhere here was fake. We're not dealing with an ordinary guy."

"Unfortunately, he had exhausted all his schemes. Although the castle is level 3, it has no defense at all. There are only two or three soldiers. He had used up all his resources to make those extremely impractical catapults!"

I guess he is just a rookie."

Yang Mingyue finished his analysis and stood up.

"Everyone, stand up. I have analyzed the situation. Don't be afraid. We're going to directly attack!"

The soldiers stood up.

A flock of birds was scared away by their movements.

Yang Mingyue accessed the world chat channel.

[ Yang Mingyue: Xu Hang is nothing but a scoundrel. Although he was a victim at first, he had lied about the Beast Tide's spawning point. His words confused and affected everyone's mentality, spreading all sorts of rumors! ]

[ Yang Mingyue: Moreover, he barely had any resources left. He had wasted them! Now, I'm going to punish him! ]

[ Wow, Brother Yang is so breathtaking. ]

[ Breathtaking my ***. In order to survive, you'll lick anyone's boots, huh? ]

[ He scared me to death. I moved away because he said the Beast Tide might happen early, sigh. ]

[ Where are you? Can you send me a photo? ]

[ Xu Hang: I never said that the Beast Tide might happen early. Is there a problem with your reading comprehension? ]

[ Yea, so? I'm furious! ]

[ Hahahaha. ]

[ Xu Hang: Also, you'll believe what anyone says? Are you an idiot? ]

[ Indeed, you just have poor judgment! ]

Looks like Xu Hang had entered another battle!
