Lucifer sat at the edge of his bed , his hands hanging over his silky clothed thighs ,his white locks falling over his shoulder and blanketing his heterochromic gaze . He stared through his hair , his gaze connecting with the mirror directly in front of him . All around his body ,there was a soft eerie, lilac glow emitting from all over , a sign of his divinity as a God ,leaking out of his mortal like shell , his very soul was breaking through . Lucifer sat there , his chest bare , a long spiralling dragon running up along the left side of his torso. The black ink against his skin looked like a true masterpiece. His snowy hair fell in long waves around him , even his eyelashes and eyebrows were a white tint . His entire body appeared to be a blank canvas with little pops of colors . His shining lilac and gold irises, his soft rose tinted lips , the spiralling black ink that stretched from his torso to his arm . As he stared at his reflection , he wore a slight scowl , he didn't like being in this form , it reminded him of the past he wanted to leave behind. It reminded him of how weak he had been , to protect the people he had loved and cared deeply for and that would always be a deep scar on his soul .
A bright purple glow illuminated his room and he raised an eyebrow in slight suspicion . A person emerged from the light, a teen boy that appeared to be around the age of nineteen or twenty . His black hair was glossy under the superficial glow in the room . His rare baby blue eyes stared at the King of Hell .
" Now this is the King , I remember. " He smiled a lopsided grin .
" Ahh , Liam I take this as you returning to the Underworld.. " Lucifer said as he recognized the Male , his voice was deeper than usual and demanded the attention of anyone near .
" I know you're in pain Lord Lucifer. I have news for you , but I was instructed to only see you , which is why I instructed the talisman to allow me to manifest directly to you . " Liam stated .
" I see , I do believe I'm aware of why you're here . " Lucifer said .
Liam sat next to the King and pulled out a paper to show him .
" Nikolai sent this to me a few days ago , I ask your pardon for my tardy arrival . I had loosened ends to tie up before I could return. " He said .
" Yes , I can smell the stench of death emitting from you . " Lucifer said . Liam smiled a small smile in acknowledgement, but stayed quiet as he allowed the King to read the contents of the letter .
" I was warned of this. " Lucifer sighed as he finished reading , " Poseidon visited some time ago and told me what Zeus was up to ."
" I assume you're still going to Mount Olympus despite knowing full well you should not . " Liam confirmed. Lucifer sighed and was about to reply when the sound of heels clicking against the marble tiled floor , echoed around them .
" I have to go , there are some things only I am able to do . " He said turning to Liam ,
" Stay here and look after the Underworld , I assume it is in much chaos with my power influencing the souls here . Wait for our return ." He told him and waved his hand cloaking him away from the sight of anyone else as the sound outside became louder .
OUTSIDE THE GROUNDS OF MOUNT OLYMPUS
Kayna stared nervously at the huge space in the wall. They were currently surrounded by the ruins of an old castle in Rome . When devising their strategy to enter the holy grounds , they came to a unanimous decision that they couldn't choose the closest gate to Olympus because that would be obvious , so they picked a location that would still be near but not as suspicious and that happened to be the Baalbek Roman Ruins. Zeus should not have known that Lucifer had created them , so that meant they didn't have to worry much about disguise .
" Alright Kayna , remember you have one hour in and out . " Alek said , he held on to her tightly and his brows furrowed in worry . Kayna nodded at his previous words and tried to act as though what they were about to do didn't scare her . Still she held on to Alek just as tight , her hands shaking slightly. It wasn't just that she might die , her entire existence being erased . It was more the fact that if she did die , she wouldn't be able to see her family anymore and she had yet to tell Alek about the thing yet . Dylan joined the hug and they took a minute to themselves .
" Alright guys let's do this and get back home . " She said smiling at them .
" Yeah , stay safe and keep up communication ok ." Alek advised . Kayna calmed herself and kissed her boyfriend again and Dylan on his head before taking a deep breath .
She put her hand forward as a precaution at first , passing it through the dense space . A second later the space began to shine a small spark at first and gradually bigger until a portal like space opened up . Through the hole there was a hazy image of what appeared to be stairs , another deep breath and a shaky smile to her boys , she stepped through the light . Instantly she grabbed her chest as she felt as though the air in her body became nonexistent. The light irritated her skin , but she still forced her feet forward one by one . Kayna walked up the golden colored stairs that spiralled through the empty white space that seemed to have to end in sight . The more she moved forward, she felt as though there were dozens of sumo wrestlers sitting leisurely on her chest. Still she continued forward despite her discomfort and soon found herself staring at what appeared to be a doorway . A sense of relief filled her body as she tried her best to hurry forward.
She ran as fast as she could skipping the stairs and soon burst through the open space. Her feet landed on the white and light grey colored marble stone floor. She looked around her , her eyesight looked on for miles, to her left she saw a large space that was occupied with a huge garden arranged with a fountain made of marble large in the center . Further past that there were separate paths that led off to different places . To her right stood a large stone , white pillared structure , she assumed was the hall for where all the Gods gathered , it radiated divine energy . It scared her immensely, the flow of the pure energy, was hurting her body , weakening her . It was even scarier knowing that her time was now cut in half , and she knew that Zeus would have Prince Nikolai inside the Colosseum looking building . Each step towards the pillared structure , made her body feel even heavier than the first . She was almost near the building , when she saw there stood two symmetrical tall bushes in the front , standing next to a square shaped stone that held large ceramic bowls , where green flames burned bright , on each side . The large ceramic bowls , had hand engraved markings of the ancient Greek language , the fire burned high and bright its green flame sometimes appearing yellow .
More stairs led from the square shaped podiums , to the entrance of the hall . And past nine of those large pillars stood , a large iron door , that she assumed led inside . Kayna was almost crawling at this point the power of the divine light , weighed her down greatly as she stood near its source , forcing out her ghost form , her body began to fail as she reached the door and gradually she fell on her knees , she barely made out a face as she lost her conscious mind , falling to the ground .
