There should be an increase of chapters soon as we begin the next arc. There is also a lot of exciting stuff coming up.
I hope you enjoy :)
------------------
The change happened suddenly and without warning or any sort of sign. I'd been in my study going over reports about production, constructions, and how the first prototypes of some of my ideas were coming along. Things had been going surprisingly well, and my ideas were coming along nicely. The few places that had been easy to build were already bringing me the approval of most of the citizenship. The idea of being able to bath for free, receive free health treatment, and education was a shocking idea to the people and the fact that I was actually planning to do it, was even more shocking, and though it was still in the early stages, what had been completed was being received extremely well.
While coin was an issue, we had enough that we were projected to last until my money-making ideas went through. The first batch was scheduled to go through after the planned kingdom-wide raid Zombieman had come up with, and my royal huntsmen had been doing an excellent job. In just a few days they cleared out thousands of problems, and I was already receiving reports of increased travel and movement from people between towns and villages. The kingdom was improving by the day and the people were noticing.
I'd had some trouble with a few nobles, but I'd quickly squashed it, and the one who had been stupid enough to send me veiled threats had been exiled from his family and the kingdom only hours later by his family, which made sense. What point was there in threatening a king?
All in all, things were coming along well, and the only issue up until now was the fact that I hadn't leveled up. My summons had but I hadn't. I remembered that Eden had said that the gap from level nine to ten was large and that it would take me much longer, but I hadn't thought it would be this long. Usually, after every battle, I got a level up and my summons by now must have taken down thousands.
What exactly would level ten bring?

Eden's voice accompanied a surge of energy, unlike anything I'd ever felt. This was completely different from what I'd felt at the ritual with the riders, and not just in the fact that it was stronger, but different, deeper in a way. it wasn't pain, but like my body and mind were being stretched out then crumbled into a ball only to be stretched back out again. My vision was blurry and I couldn't focus on anything. Whenever I tried to cling to a thought, it floated out of my grasp like it was being tugged by a steady wind. What was most odd though was the fact that an odd new sense was creeping into my mind.
I knew that in the top right corner of the room there was a crack and I also knew that I was slumped in my chair, except I couldn't feel and I couldn't see, so how did I know? The best way to describe it was like looking into a book, the information was all there, and you just needed to focus on the part you wanted to read. I knew everything around me and I just needed to focus to know something in a clearer way, because I wasn't seeing anything. It wasn't like some sort of eye outside my body or some magical sight, I just knew.

Everything went black, and the Infomation vanished as though the room around me had vanished, and I was left in an empty void. I tried to think but my mind was still jumbled, and before I could try anything else the stretching that I'd been feeling stopped, and the world came back, but not the same as it was.
As I raised my head and looked around the room, I couldn't help but feel that everything seemed clearer, not to mention the fact that I could see an odd orange-tinged light rising from the enchanted light on my desk and other lights in other places in the room, more specifically in the areas where there were enchanted items, but once again it wasn't seeing, it was knowing. The information view that I'd had was back and far more clearer and the energy which I assumed was mana wasn't something I was seeing with my eyes, but simply something I knew. The information was just there in my head, everything about it, and with a bit of focus, I could make it clearer? no that didn't seem like the right word, it was more like zooming in. In what seemed like a sphere around myself, I knew everything. I knew what was. completely. I didn't understand everything, but I knew.
[Congratulations! You have Leveled up! You are now Level 10 You have reached passed the first threshold.]
[Reward: 3 Summoning Token, 2 Unique Token, 1 Situation Token, 1 Special Request Token(Limited)]
[Congratulations! You have earned a title]
[Awoken: Your sight has been awoken. By focusing you can view the information on an entity that is within a similar range of power to yourself. Information will appear as a status screen and the greater your power, the more information that will be available to view.]
My mouth opened in shock as I tried to process everything. I read over everything three times then leaned back in my chair. When Eden had said that level ten would be harder to get, I'd assumed it was because it was the first double-digit number or that I would receive a big reward, which I had, but I hadn't imagined this.
"Eden could you explain please."
[What would you like me to explain?]
"Everything"
[Level ten is where you truly begin the path to the pinnacle. You could not have possibly thought that you would carry on like a normal human then just reach the pinnacle altogether. As you level you will change in many ways, body, mind and, soul. This is just the first. You have awoken the sight which will grow with you. I cannot disclose much information, but I can say this. The sight you now possess while currently lacking compared to its true form has the greatest potential and will, if you survive, evolve into the greatest form of vision possible. As for the reward and title, well I believe they are self-explanatory.]
"Am I still human?"
[That depends entirely on what you believe makes you human. The only physical part of your body that has changed is your mind as a normal human mind could not process the information granted by the sight. Your soul has also developed.]
I didn't really care if I was still human or not. To me, what mattered more was staying myself. If I grew a pair of elf ears and dragon wings, then yeah I'd be shocked but I wouldn't be mad as long as I was still myself, and also as long as I could change back into a normal human form.
From what I could see, everything was just benefits, especially the summoning tokens. This made up for the lack of them in the past few days, and the sight was amazing, I had to admit. It was still odd though, especially the fact that it was called the sight. It had nothing to do with my eyes or normal vision. I wasn't seeing anything with my eyes or anything like them.
I just knew.
It would take some time to get used to, but it was still a benefit. I glanced over at the desk and smiled. Nothing was out of place, and everything seemed fine, just as I'd left it, though I'd have to get through everything quickly.
I had some tokens to use.
With that thought, I smiled and got back to work, eager to finish.
