Lelith nodded at my words and a moment later was back in storage, and I was left with the last summon.
I couldn't help but smile as I looked up and down the form of the Yorha android more commonly known as 2B. One of three protagonists of Nier automata and the most popular character of a video game I was a huge fan of.
Nier Automata.
She looked just as she did in the game. A white-haired woman with her eyes covered by a black blindfold. She wore a black dress that ended at mid-thigh, and had on black stockings that covered most of her legs, but left a bit of pale skin uncovered. She didn't have any weapons or her pod with her, but I knew they were most likely in her inventory. She didn't look like a fierce warrior and to anyone who didn't know what she was, they'd think she was some sort of maid or other, but I knew better. The android in front of me had gone up against hordes of enemy, and giant machines.
"Good to meet you 2B," I said with a smile.
She stepped forward and saluted me. "Thank you, commander. It's a pleasure to serve you."
"There's no need to call me commander," I said. "But if it's what you want then I won't deny you."
She nodded and there was an odd moment of awkward silence that was broken by Indominus who I turned to see was eating some of the dead soldiers.
"Indomius!" I shouted, getting its attention. "Don't ruin any of the amour or weapons, and your name is Rex from now on, ok?"
Rex's only response was a pleased growl before he went back to eating. I nodded, glad I wasn't going to have to call him Indominus, that just sounded like an odd thing to call him, though it was funny to imagine what someone would think if I told them I had a pet named Rex since if anyone heard the name Rex I highly doubted they'd pictured the beast of death in front of me. The way Rex moved showed just how good he was since he moved across the battlefield comply silently, his steps not making a single sound, nor his claws.
"Alright then," I said as he leaned down to tear the head of a dead soldier. "I'm leaving you here, but I will be returning you to storage in a few minutes, ok?"
Once again I got in a growl in response, though surprisingly enough the dinosaur also turned to me this time and bowed, which caused Domino to let out a laugh.
"Did the dinosaur just bow?" Domino asked.
"Yeah, he did," I said, motioning 2B to follow me. "He's the smartest dinosaur there is, though I think the system does a few things to certain summons as well so I can communicate better with them since I'm pretty sure Rathalos and Dinosaurs don't speak whatever language we're speaking."
I arrived at Rath and quickly hopped onto him, and a moment later we were joined by 2B, leaving Rath's back cramped with me, Domino, 2B, Danzo, and Biroth.
"2B, I'll be sending you back for now, but I'll summon later along with the rest, ok?"
She nodded and a moment later was back in storage, leaving the rest of us with more space.
"Is Biroth secure?" I asked.
"He's all good," Domino said. "I think he's in shock again."
I let out a sigh and gave Rath the command to take off. "We'll deal with it, though it's not like I really need to ask him too many questions. I mostly need him to set an example."
He rose quickly and I sent the command to stop so I could inspect the battlefield around us from above. I had to shake my head at the sight, it looked bad enough on the ground, from above? It looked like a nightmare mad manifest, especially Esdeaths forest of the frozen dead, well mostly dead, since there were still a few alive, which I guessed was from the cold. It was probably the kords and mages since they were superhuman, and had enhanced bodies, though that hadn't done much for them against the overwhelming power of my summons.
"We did that?" Domino asked, somewhat surprised.
"Yes you did," I replied. "Why is it a shock?"
"Yeah," She said. "It's different on the ground, and I wasn't really keeping count, but from up here it seems wild that we killed so many."
"I know what you mean," I said, looking over the battlefield one last time. This marked the end of this idiotic war that had caused nothing but problems and had caused me setbacks to my changes and marked the start of time for Larra. A time of improvement and change, that would hopefully better both the kingdom and its people, all of its people, not just the nobility and merchant class. There was going to be pushback of that I was sure, but this massacre alongside my power would show those people I was not be tested or messed with, and with summons like Danzo on my side now, well things were going to be a lot easier.
I sent a mental command to Rath to head back to the city as I turned my attention away from the battlefield and to the city
