Like a prisoner, Zhu Kang silently followed after Altren. 'I feel like I did this just yesterday. At least my darling brother did not hurt me or anything but this guy... he can easily fry me'
"Our ride's here," Altren pulled him to a shiny Tesla waiting near the gates.
As soon as they walked close, the car's doors opened flashily. A handsome young man was sitting in the back seat busily typing on his laptop. "How long do you plan to make me wait?" He glanced at them coldly.
Zhu Kang looked at him in shock. This man looked like he just ran out of a runway. From his chiselled jaw to his sharp eyebrows he looked perfecto. But the only problem was his sharp upturned eyes glared at him especially.
'Achh, who is this? Why is he glaring at me... did he notice me checking him out?' he lowered his head and glanced at his torn vans.
"Uncle, meet my new friend. His name is Zhu knag," Altren happily introduced him.
Zhu Kang nodded. This beautiful person's eyes were still trained on him. 'What did I do to you, dude? Why are you glaring, huh?'
"come on get in,' Altren pushed him in towards the back seat.
'whoa no way am I sitting next to him.' he froze near the door. "Can I sit up front?"
Altren just glanced at him quizzically. "My uncle is not going to eat you up. Just get in." he pushed him in and closed the door after him.
Zhu Kang, who was rudely pushed in, stumbled about trying not to touch the man next to him. 'His suit looks more expensive than my tuition fee if I wrinkle it even a little...'
"Sit properly," a stern voice said next to him.
"Yes sir," Zhu Kang sat up straight.
The man glanced at him intently and sighed. "Your seat belt." This time, his voice was slightly kinder.
Zhu Kang glanced up at him in surprise. "oh... sorry," he pulled the seatbelt from the sides. But somehow his fumbling hands failed him miserably at strapping himself up. 'My stupid body, did you decide to embarrass yourself in front of this gorgeous man?'
A long hand pulled the seat belt from him and clicked it in place.
"T—thanks.." he glanced up with a small smile.
The man just looked at him with his still a piercing stare. "hmmm.." he went back to typing on his laptop.
Zhu Kang nervously sat with his legs all tucked close. He glanced out the window. They were heading to the less crowded area. 'hmm.. Where are they taking me?'
The car took a right turn, and they were close to the jewellery shop. 'Wait, aren't we going to my place? That place? Oh don't tell me.....' he glanced at Altren and then at his uncle. "umm..."
"House is close right?" Altren glanced back and smirked.
He just froze. 'Did I just reveal our 'villain hideout'? no... This guy looks like he knows,'
His eyes narrowed a bit. "Hey why don't we hit the cafe next to this turn? It will be much peaceful,"
Altren silently glanced back with a blank stare. "You said we will work at your house,"
"But my house is too small.... it.. will be uncomfortable" he tried laughing it off, but Altren just smiled innocently.
"Oh, it's okay. I've never seen a small house before. It will be a good experience,'
Zhu Kang bit his lips, holding back the cuss words. 'Did you think our house is a museum? That is our hideout man!' suddenly his mind paused. 'How did he know our address? Something is fishy....'
The Tesla stopped right in front of their house.
Altren cheerfully got down.
Zhu Kang, on the other hand, noted his expression. The young hero looked like he was anticipating something.
'Is this a trap? Am I going to be captured along with my brother?' he gripped the seat belt tightly.
There was a small click next to him and the seat belt loosened. "I have work to do," the busy man said with an impatient look.
"Sorry..." he had no other option but to get down now. The Tesla didn't even wait a moment more. It zoomed past them, towards the busy road.
He awkwardly stood in front of the door. Just last night he walked out the door quitting everything related to villains.
'Now here I am.. What will Gwyn say when he finds out his most hated hero is right next to me?' he glanced at Altren with a fake smile.
Altren smiled back. "Aren't we going inside?"
"y—yes...." he pretended to search through his bag. "Oh what a klutz... looks like I left my keys back in the dorms, haha..."
Zhu Kang did not even look at his face once because he knew that this man must have a glaring look on his face.
"Looks like we might have to cancel today's project. Why don't we do this another day?"
"I said it's due next week," he lowered his head and looked directly into his eyes. "we promised to do it at your house...'
Zhu Kang started to shiver. 'Here it comes... my moment of death,'
"What are you doing there?" an annoyed voice shouted behind them.
"Gwyn," Zhu Kang ran and held his hand. "You said we had work to do, right?" He excitedly looked into his eyes, begging him to play along. 'Please say we have work.. please,"
Gwyn just looked at him weirdly. "oh-kay." He handed a bag of the groceries in his hands to him. "Bring it in." only then did he notice a young fellow standing by the door. "Oh, you bought a friend? Why didn't you let yourself in?"
Zhu Kang watched his brother open the door. 'nooooo!!! You are opening the door to doom!!!!!'
