Altren saw the ground right in front of his dazed eyes. His uncle swiftly flew up higher. The first thing he did was check the mask over his face. The fire had burned parts of it, leaving small holes. Other than that, his identity was safe.
'Phew I thought I was busted for sure…'
"agh.... Zain you came right on time. I love you, buddy." He reached out and patted his uncle's head. To his surprise, his fingertips combed through slightly coarse curly hair. "Huh?"
"hey! who..." he peered up to see a man in fox man.
A familiar figure.
It was the elder Gemini brother.
Altren's heart started to pound loudly in his ears.
'Why is my heart beating so loudly? gosh seriously... every time...' he patted his chest. 'must be because I'm literally hanging on his shoulders like a sack of potatoes. Blood is flowing down to my head,' he mentally comforted his consciousness.
Right then, something was snapped onto his ankle.
Altren came back to his senses. He could feel the powers inside his body drain away towards his ankle.
"hey! Take that off! I know that you are angry about what happened before but you can't seek revenge like that. It was mutual and it was a genuine accident okay. You should not resort to violence for that,"
The super villain just gave him a look. Through his fox mask brown- amber eyes peered intensely.
Altren also stared back. He could not admire the beauty of them, because those eyes looked desperate and tired.
He had never seen him look like that. Usually, those eyes burned with passion and anger every time they fought.
"Are you okay?"
The villain glanced away.
"Are you with the snakehead?"
If he was, he had no option but to apprehend him. Gemini twins were not the bad kind of criminals they dint hurt anyone and they usually only perform minor thefts. He did not want to put him away, especially after the brief history they shared.
"Are you…." he once again urged him to answer.
"I'm not. I'm not a snakehead,"
"Then why are you kidnapping me.." Altren glanced back, but the man refused to look his way.
Swiftly he flew over to a rooftop and placed him down gently.
Altren sprawled on the ground looking up at him.
With his legs open wide, the man knelt down in between his knees. He leaned close, placing a firm hand n his chest.
Altren's mind went on overdrive. 'Is this... oh no!'
"No, I can't do this! I'm sorry don't force me. I don't like being forced. And I don't think I like penetrative sex. It's not that great!" he shouted in panic.
"What?!"
The hand holding him down did not make any unnecessary moves. The touch was not inappropriate.
Altren stopped his struggle and looked up. The pair of sad brown eyes looked down with tears shimmering in them. 'Shit... what is this? why is he crying?..'
He sat up, patting his shoulders. "' look if you want me to take responsibility. I will, soo please don't cry. I don't like seeing people in tears. Wipe them away." He patted his cheeks through the solid fox mask.
The villain sniffed slightly.
"Look If you can change in your villainous ways we can be... together. If that's what you want.."
"What?" the elder Gemini said in a startled voice. "no that's not why I took you here.."
"Then why?"
Altren could not find any other reason why this villain would save his life and even have a calm talk with him.
"I.... I need help." The villain softly whispered.
Altren sat up.
The man was kneeling so obediently with his head lowered. It was not his usual confident demure.
"What do you need? If you want my assistance in criminal activities, I won't help. If it is something else, tell me."
The man's eyes looked startled slightly. "You... you will help?...."
"Yeah, I'm a hero. I have to help others albeit a villain does not come under that category. but since we have been intimate, I can bend that rule a bit,"
Altren waited for the villain to speak. He just kept sobbing silently.
"Okay you are worrying me? do you need money or something? is someone sick?"
Gwyn Kang shook his head sobbing. He had no way but to resort to this. he had searched for Kang for so long.
So many hospitals yet he could not find his beloved brother. It was just like what happened when they were children.
Zhuzhu just disappeared. No one in his college saw him or heard from him for a few days, the hospital for drug addiction nearby had never heard of his name or seen his face.
He was gone.
He even made the desperate attempt to search for him in snakehead gang but it was no avail.
The group had changed their hiding spot. Even the usually thugs had no idea where the notorosu gang had moved to.
He was desperate.
It had been more than eight days...
As his last attempt, he wanted to seek out a hero fully expecting his request to be rejected as usual.
he had zero hope of getting any help..
But contrary to his expectation this hero agreed without even listening to his request.
The young hero might not mean it. to him, it might just be empty words but that alone game him immense comfort.
This was the comfort he needed long back but never got.
He removed the mask and wiped his tears away.
"I want to find my brother... please help me find my brother Zhu Kang,"
