That second he looked at Lia's drooping head, Kang lost it all. A small gust of mist gushed out of him, his breath turned ragged, sounded much like a loud growl.
He was blind with fury. His eyes could focus on nothing but that wretched man in front of him. everything else was a blur....
Like a raging dragon, he flew to him aiming to punch right at his solar plexus.

The villain just grinned. "physical type, super easy,"
A huge ice wall grew from his hands, shielding him completely from wall to wall. He slowly formed into a small pathway that directly led him out of the academy.
Kevin grinned to himself. " They really are running out of heroes he he.., the others outside must be doing a great job occupying the seasoned heroes. who knew Aaron will be here.. it was fun fighting him. But he is not that powerful as the rumors suggest… next time I will slice off his blond head as a trophy.. he he...'
He glanced at the unconscious kid slightly disappointed. This kid was a strength ability user, he was aiming for the kids with special abilities.
"I fucked up, I only got one. I really shouldn't have played around with that Zain. i could have caught at least a few kids…Sigh..." he threw the kid over his shoulders carelessly having a tight grip on his calf.
Suddenly Kevin felt a small bang on the ice wall.
"stupid, bang all you want against it. only a strong fire ability one can break through this ice,"
All of a sudden, his senses were overwhelmed by the sounds of the ice shattering. A blue flaming figure punched him right in his face.
An exorbitant amount of heat burned through his skin in an instant.
Laying on the icy ground, his mind was still in shock. His body was going into defensive mode. At that moment, he did not feel any pain. Everything was numb..
Only the sight of the hero burning blue was visible..
An unknown fear arose in the depth of his heart. his body unconsciously trembled.
Soon that numbness went away, bringing about an anguishing pain.
"w-what.. what have you done to me...." he tenderly touched his face. the flesh had melted away. "you.. you are not a strength class... what are you?!"
The hero peered down at him with his eyes glowing a bright shade of green. The air pressure dropped.
Even taking a breath was difficult...
Those eyes.. they felt like Satan's gaze.
Kevin trembled in fear. The ice wall he had summoned had already melted off into a huge puddle on the ground. "M-monster... a monster.....you're a monster..."
The hero's pupils turned into a slid like a predator hunting down a prey. There was bloodlust that made his blood curdle.
The hero bent down and lifted him off the floor with a mighty grip.
"a monster? If I have to become a monster to take you down... then I will become one. I will be a monster..."
One single touch of his hand and he could feel the skin on his neck melting away.
"ahhhhhh!!!!!!!" he let out a soul-wrenching cry.

Zhu Kang gripped his neck tightly. His eyes were solely focused on his face, feeding off of the pain he saw on his face.
Inflicting pain on others.....it gave him sadistic pleasure.
The beast in him wanted blood spills.. Wanted to bathe in it to quench it's fury.
That terrified him....
It terrified him a lot.
All of a sudden, he felt his whole body freeze up. from hands to his chest he felt the icicles spared rapidly.
Kang dropped the man instantly, hurriedly patting off the ice from his scaly arms. but the harm had already been done. His body was bone-chilling cold.
He could barely move his joints.
A sudden cold sensation in the soles of his feet shocked him even more.
The villainous man was gripping tightly onto his leg. "i... I won't let... you go... if I die here.. so should you.... you monster,"
"fuck," Kang kicked him away.
Even so, the ice spread. In just under a minute, his whole body was encapsulated in ice. Inside he was still conscious but unable to move.
His own body was out of his control.
Zhu Kang clenched his jaws tightly, controlling his shivering. 'cold... cold.... so cold.... system.... he...help....'

'You ... fucking... unreLiable.....' he closed his eyes. all he could think about was the little kid lying on the cold floor. 'Everyone... everyone is unreLiable....fuck, it hurts.'
The last thing he saw was a black-cloaked man whisking away Lia in his arms out the academy doors.
Trapped inside the ice prison.. he watched. Every step the villain took, his heart shattered.
His hope in heroes shattered.
'Heroes... what do they do.. rules? What are they for?'
'They can't even save a kid..... i... I can't save that kid.. what's the use in being powerful.....'
Silently, he sobbed.
His little tears froze right as they dripped down his eyes.
Helplessly, he stood there until someone came to retrieve him. as soon as the ice was melted, he fell to the ground in a dazed state. His body felt like jelly.
So many voices. So many people crowing around him. some with frowning faces, some with worried faces... and some with disappointed faces... he could not care less.
The child was gone.....
The child was taken... yet here they were.. unbothered....

Tiredly he hobbled back to his room. Closed the door on their faces and buried himself in a blanket.
Today was a loss... loss he never expected in his life.
A loss he had never experienced in his life.
A loss he never wants to feel further on in the future.
He wiped away the cold tears.
"I swear, I will never experience this loss again. Being a hero means so many rules... we have to sacrifice for others. let me be selfish.... I will be a villain, a extraordinary villain that no rules that hold,"
He glanced at his scale-covered hands.
"With this and I shall save the worthy and destroy those fuckers... rules be fucked. I make my own rules,"
