Kang was still immersed in shock when Aaron gently lifted him and placed him in a pink princess chair.
"Gritchen here will take care of everything. You don't need to worry about anything," he even had the audacity to pat his head before leaving.
'Ah, is this a joke? I'm a joke to them?' he glanced around.
The little kids were looking at him with interest. Some were even laughing at him.
"Silence kids, meet our new classmate. This is Zhu knag. Be kind,"
Zhu Kang smiled at them. 'Well, I've learned my lesson to accept fate. At least I'm not in a classroom filled with bratty supers. These are just cute little radish heads.' all the kids looked super cute. 'I want to pinch their baby fat... I guess I can handle being in this class'
He nodded to himself with a slight feeling of contentment.
One chubby kid in the front seat glanced back. "He's old."
Kang froze. 'What did you say, kid?'
One started, the others followed. All the kids started to chatter about him loudly.
"He's too ugly."
"Weird.."
"I don't trust adult supers. They are weird."
One after another, they started to point and laugh at him.
Kang bit his lips, holding back his uncontrollable urge to smack their small head. 'they are kids... I need to be forgiving... I need to be the bigger person...'
"That uncle looks as old you teacher. ." One kid mumbled softly.
That was it. Their teacher was an old man with graying hair.
'How could these little midgets compare me to him?'
"Uncle? Yeah, I'm an older person, so what? I'm going to be your classmate from now on. What are you going to do about it, huh? Listen to your teachers," he gestured for him to look at the front.
The chubby kid snickered and glanced away.
"My, my.... calm down everyone. Now that everyone is settled in their seats, let's start with the lessons. Today we are learning about the basic etiquettes of having powers. Does anyone have any clue what that is?" the older man cheerfully said in a baby tone.
Kang at that moment knew.... he fucked up.
Even in normal college classes, he would feel bored and annoyed by the slow pace of the teaching. Now he had to listen to the old man explain the basic etiquettes like Don't reveal your powers, help the needy...
'I did not come here for a value education lesson... aish... this is going to be tough..'
With difficulty, he laid down on the small table-like structure attached to his chair.
He did look comical in a small princess pink chair which was definitely intended for kids. His ass was squeezed in.
'Whatever I'll just sleep through this...'
"Kang? little Zhu Kang?" the old man called for him.
He sat up, wiping his eyes.
"A friend is here to visit you," he pointed to the door with a big smile.
Altren stood there with a brilliantly bright smile. "hey, it's break time. Let's go. I'll show you around the campus,"
The kids around him started to murmur. "It's a real super."
"Oh my god, I know him."
"He's Alta."
"He's so heroic, my mum loves him."
"Mine too, mine too"
Kang rolled his eyes. "I'm a hero too,"
They all looked at him intently.
"If you are, why are you in our class? It's the lowest level. It means you did not pass the exams. Shame," The same chubby boy roasted him openly.
Kang just blinked. 'I'm going to ignore anything that comes out of his mouth. He desperately needs some character development..' he stood up.
The chair stuck to his ass.
"ha-ha, his ass is stuck!"
"He's fat!"
"Fat ass!"
The kids pointed and laughed at him openly.
A small nerve twitched in his forehead. Kang pulled the chair off of his booty and placed it down carefully. "Teacher put in a request for a new chair. Obviously, this one does not fit.." he clenched the handles tightly. The pink chair cracked into two.
The whole class went silent.
"Oops. I think I broke it. Now you have to get me a new chair."
Altren snickered loudly.
Kang just bowed respectfully to the teacher and walked out.
"Wow, way to scare the kids."
Kang silently glared at him. "Your uncle's out for blood.. He wants revenge."
"What did you do?" he clung onto his shoulders.
"I made fun of him...." he did not want to give out such private details to him. if Aaron wanted he can talk to his nephew himself.
Alter pulled him close and ruffled up his hair. "He won't take it seriously. But why do you think he's bullying you? Because you were put in that class? That's normal, Kang. Everyone has to start from the basics. If you miss that basics training you won't be able to progress much in the future,"
Kang pushed his arm away. "Reasons, reasons. I still don't like being teased by midgets. They are surprisingly mean,"
"Trust me, when I was that age I was bullied a lot. Most of the kids here are second-generation supers. Their parents drop them off her right after they manifest. Ever so often, they drop in and check on them. The kids with powerful parents kind of have a privilege over the normal human born supers," he said with a downcast look.
"Weren't your parents super?"
"Grandparents. My parents were normal humans." He sighed. "shit I forgot, they'll have beef cutlet today. If we don't hurry, you won't be able to try that delicacy,"'
Kang nodded and went along with his desperate attempt to change the subject.
"This is our area one cafeteria. You get awesome meat dishes here," Altren excitedly opened the door.
A few hundred pairs of eyes fell on them.
Altren's smiling face instantly hardened. He led him through the crowd of people over to the buffet area.
A young teenage girl approached them with a flattering smile. Three girls behind her urged her to talk. "Alta.... it's a pleasant surprise. You didn't tell me you returned. we.. we have met before. I don't think you….."
Altren just ignored her blatantly and pulled him behind.
The girl looked on the verge of tears.
'Poor girl. Don't you know? This stud is only into men. No boobs for him,' he thought.
They both lined up for the food.
To be honest, the smell of the dishes made his stomach growl. Loudly.
"Thank god, beef cutlet is still there," Altren whispered with a small smile.
They picked out their food as fast as they can and found an empty seat.
The eyes were only focused on their table.
"This sucks..I feel like I'll get indigestion if I eat with so many watching me'
Thinking about this issue, he continued shoving spoon full of rice. Before he knew it, his bowl was empty.
"You can get seconds," Altren smiled at him.
"Oh I'll get some then," he dreaded going there alone.
'I'm a man, not a child. I can stand in a line for god's sake,'
He lined up again. This time a few girls surrounded him.
"Hi, are you new here?"
"Yea," he curtly answered.
"I'm Melisa, this is...." she kept naming her girl gang. Kang had already tuned her out. "You seem close to Altren. When did you guys get close? He really hates talking to people,'
Kang glanced at the table. Altren had his head down silently eating his food. 'Really? This man won't shut up in front of me... weird...'
"Can we get your number? We can keep in contact. Oh, I forgot I'm having a party at my parent's place. You both can come along,"
Kang was oblivious to her sly attempt at getting close to Altren. "I think you misunderstood. We are not that close."
"I thought.... you both looked like close friends.."
"No, he is my enemy,"
